I was thinking the same thing. That last pass to Meachem was awful. So unBrees like it made me nervous. It could've slipped out or may just be nerves on his part.

Anthony Hargrove is a Beast.

He's having a great game. That's one thing to be happy about.

It really is a tremendous article. Definitely one of the best I can ever remember reading. I felt very proud of our city after reading it.
Yeah, Payton is so full of crap when it comes to injuries. Porter was practicing some last week and they keep saying he's ahead of schedule so maybe he will. They were saying last week that Fujita wouldn't be back until the playoffs.

I think we'll definitely see Moore back. Probably won't see Porter, but he was practicing on a limited basis on Friday. He's running ahead of schedule so I wouldn't rule him out completely. I'm pretty sure Greer and Fujita won't be back until the playoffs.
I don't like it either. I think it sounds ignorant, but it's not going away so I'll just have to deal with it.
I agree 100%. Between injuries, short week and coming out flat we definitely shouldn't have one that game yesterday, but we DID. This is a game we would have never ever won in the past. Good teams can almost will themselves to win sometimes. We have been on the receiving end so many times and it feels really good to be on the other side for a change. It's hard not to feel like our team is destined this year.

I really feel like we will rollover Dallas in the Dome so I think our last real test will be this week in Atlanta. If we can just get a few guys back on D look out!

Berman is an arrogant prick. Hate the guy.

I agree. He's a great safety valve. Brees really seems to be at his best when he's in the game. Just not sure he'll be back. The injury is frustrating because you just never hear anything about it other than he's out.

Yeah, Moore is definitely an ankle. Man, it seems like he's been out forever and and I haven't seen anything about him even practicing yet. I'd love for him to be back this week because until today our offense seemed to run a lot better with him in there.

Great win. It was good to see our team back in a dominating performance. Already counting down the days until MNF.
I'll give you the fact that comparing who beat who is really not relevant. It was a bad way of trying to make a point. But, again it should be o.k. to constructively criticize a performance. The idea that you can't do that because they are 9 and 0 is retarded.
Sure I am. It's just to show how the other elite teams played against the Rams. Do we always do this crap with the Tigers. Oh, USC beat so and so by 7, but we beat them by 17 so we've got to be better.

I love it how it's not o.k. to say the Saints didn't play well today. They did not and I think most of the players and coaches will echo that. That doesn't make me a bad fan. I love them as much as anyone. But, the bottom line is they are playing very sloppy football right now. They need to clean it up or we won't end up where we want them to.
Oh, and the Colts beat this team 42-6 and the Vikings beat them 38-10.
I love the fact that the Saints are 9-0, but they are not playing playing particularly well right now. If it was one game no big deal, but it feels like it's becoming a little bit of a trend. Injuries are definitely a part of it, but are not the sole reason. They don't have anything to do with the turnovers we are making on offense. 3 more today. How many have we had since the Dolphins game? I don't know, but it's a ton.

The Rams are not a good football team and they were in it til the end. The Rams barely beat the Lions last week and the Lions are horrible. They came into the game averaging 9.6 points and ended up with 23. Total yards of 434 which was 14 more than we had. Yes, we won which is most important, but we need to cut down on the sloppiness. I firmly believe that if we would have been playing just an average team this week we would have registered our first loss.

re: I feel for Lee

I agree. The QB gets treated like a king when he plays well and takes a lot of heat when he plays poorly. For better or worse it comes with the position and he knows that. Lee doesn't seem to shy away from the criticism which I do respect. However, he is not progressing. He consistently looks very uncomfortable when he drops back. He almost never surveys the field and stares down whoever his primary target is. He then usually throws it off his back foot and often off target. He may one day end up being a good QB, but I think at this point you should at least give JJ a shot.
