Day crew homie. Save this for them.
The Passages guy from Cali is way worse. He oozes douche bag with every ounce of himself.
As someone who has very little education of the Bible, I am enjoying all these verses.
That requires WAY too much accountability, effort, and self pride.

Ain't nobody got time for all that.

This.

I graduated with a litte over $500 to my name, but the plus side was that I paid cash for my tuition and living expenses while in school.

Although I work in the public sector, I was easily able to accumulate a healthy level of savings (for my lifestyle/Non-OT baller) not long after.

I can't begin to explain how rewarding my sacrifices during undergrad felt hearing all my friends whine about the debt they accrued from bar tabs, rent, and books.

Going out tomorrow night in Port Sulfur, La. for a bachelor party.

High Point is to handguns as Steel Reserve is to beer.

I wish I has a dollar for every dead thug I have stood over that brought one to a gun fight.

Cash.

I was habitually single for a few years after getting out of college. I was lucky enough to have a nice amount of savings in the bank.

Paid $5,300 for the ring and honestly feel like I got a steal. Friend of mine used to work for a local fine jeweler so I showed him a few pictures of what she thinked she would like. Bought him lunch one day before we went looking and let him to all the negotiating. We walked in the first store and found what we wanted within an hour.

Easiest big purchase I think I will ever make.

Asking for a letter of reference

Why do I feel guilty or like I am some how cheating the system?

Short story: I have been trying to attain a competitive position within my company for the past 3 or so years. I have unsucessfully interviewed more than a few times for the opening/similar openings only to watch applicants that I trained or who had far less education, experience, and training advance.

It's been frustrating, but I work in the public sector. Nepotism, popularity, minorities, and being a "yes" man are highly desirable qualitites.

I was approached by someone from a different public sector who is influential in my field and ultimately over sees all of the work/product that my company is responsible for monitoring and told that when I applied again to give him a call.

My question is, how should I phrase my request? I respect the person a lot and don't want to come off as entitled or demanding of any influence he may be able to impose.

I drafted an email to send and attached a copy of my CV/resume. Should I come out and ask him for a letter or should I just let him know that I will be applying again and would like to get advice/guidance from him in the hope that he makes a few phone calls on my behalf?

Bought my fiancé's ring from Anton's last month.

Took a good friend with me who used to work in the industry and let him take care of most of the negotiations.

Ended up paying $5,300 in cash for a ring that appraised for a little under 9k.

And obviously she said yes when I asked this past weekend.

LSU v. Miss. State Game Time

Planning to propose to my girlfriend that day and need an educated guess from you experts if it will be a 2:30pm kickoff. Trying to squeeze this little chore into my schedule.

And before anyone ask, I am not doing it in Tiger Stadium or anywhere near campus.

I had a good run, but all good things must come to an end right? The closer it gets the more I keep telling myself this type of thing has happened to better men than me.

:banghead:

Any insight is appreciated.
Really?

I have an 07' Tacoma Prerunner TRD with only 33k miles (I drive a company vehicle during the week). I have also added a lift kit and wheels.

This thread has me curious how much it will be worth when I decide to get rid of it now.

Went for the first time last year and will plan on making it every fall.

The prison grounds are manicured to perfection and its impressive to see how much attention to detail is given to keep the place up.

The crafts are ok, not really my thing, but it is something to see when you look at all the hand crafted items knowing that they are the only thing many of the convicts will ever do in their lives that they are proud, for lack of a better word, about.

The rodeo is a blast. The organizers do a good job of putting it all together and keeping the audience entertained for the roughly two hour show.

If you own a motorcycle, you cant beat the drive up there.

I will be there Sunday with the family.

Yea, I tried that last year and it failed. Two tarps and a cover were no match. Rusted out my starter and cost me a ton of money in other repairs.

Looking to store it somewhere covered, not necessarily indoors.
