i have both marmot precip and patagonia torrentshell
love em both.
had the sierra designs equivalent and it only lasted a year or so, started flaking on the inside and was useless.
lots of newer ones on ebay for cheaper. or most of the outfitter websites have promo codes if you're looking for a deal.

I work a lot of these metal shows, at the last one I saw a guy in a WSP shirt. Who cares!
My best friend's husband is a metal fanatic, she went with him (actually bought both of their tickets) to see Slayer a few months back. She stood on the side while he did his thing in the pit. Some dudes called her out for not being a fan, she told them about buying their tickets, they were so impressed that she actually went to the show that they bought her beers all night.

Osprey for sure.
I agree.
My Osprey has the detachable day pack. Not worth it. You have to detach it, clear it out, and repack it with the things you need for the day, then repack it again when you're ready to reattach it to the rest of the pack.
Would be easier to just have a separate lightweight pack.

the line for floor will probably start around midnight the night before...
It did in Vegas the last 2 311 Days.
In 08 in New Orleans it started closer to 3-4AM.
There are also Early entry wristbands that went along with the VIP packages.
Yeah..have fun standing in that line for a while if you want to be one of the first ones inside.

but i agree with you guys that a lot of his shite is way out there and pretty weird def an acquired taste for most.
