Yak fishin in lake chuck

So I've been living in baton rouge fishing shell beach, grand isle, and mostly leeville for the past couple years. I've very recently(a week or so) moved to lake Charles and need some help as to where most kayakers lauch and fish the marsh south of here. I'm not asking for your honey hole, but any help would be appreciated.

Were you closer to the north or south end of the lake? I have a camp near reds point on the south end and might try to make a trip soon
