I'm 48 years old and my irons are Ping I E1. they are traditional lofts. I planned to get fitted for new irons this fall or winter, but I'm not a huge fan of game improvement irons. You seem to lose consistency on distance. I guess I wasn't sure if others cringed that much seeing their own swing :yack:
I hit my driver straight, not long(average 240) but straight. I play with 10 year old irons and hit them straight also, but short. From 150 I'm hitting a 7 iron. Most of the younger guys I play with are hitting PW or 9. I know I lose shots around the green, and that's something I'm trying to address. I've always thought I should be hitting it farther and seeing my swing I see why I'm so short. But with my accuracy I'm hesitant to overhaul my swing just to gain a few yards
First let me say, I never video my swing and I've never had lessons. I played with friends in college and then like a lot of people quit the game for years while raising a family. I started back playin about 4 years ago and play once a week now at 48.  I've got my handicap down to a 7.7 and had grand visions of maybe shooting par on an easy course. But this weekend I played with my brother and he was making a video of the experience and videoed a few of my shots. My swing looks horrible! That's all I noticed in the video.  If I saw my swing, I would say no better than 25+ handicap. Now I'm thinking, it's no way to get to below 5 with my swing mechanics. Looking at my stats this year , 73% fairways hit and 50% GIR,  are decent but I'm not sure if I've hit my limit with my swing. I had none of these thoughts before seeing my swing on video. How important is the look of your swing to you?
If you go to the garmin golf app and select golf sim. Then go down to E6 it will give you a code to enter for the free courses
you also get 5 free courses on E6 with the r10. so definitely play around on those before you buy. I decided to buy the TGC 2019 over E6 after looking at both. Gunghogolf has a lot of good info on their site comparing the 2. TGC 2019 vs E6 Connect
I use an iPad for E6 and Awesome Golf. I just purchased TGC 2019 and need a pc to run it, but also have to use you phone to run an app to connect the r10 to TGC 2019. I really like the awesome golf app. You can try it for 2 weeks free then it’s $350 for lifetime or a yearly fee. I find when friends come over that’s what we end up playing, especially if the wives want to play a scramble type game. I also like it’s range setup.
I don't mind paying some over face value. Is there anything like stubhub, nfl ticket exchange, or people on the street selling tickets?... Thanks for the info

How hard to get EPL tickets?

I will be in Southampton Sunday and they play Chelsea. Will it be difficult to find tickets to the game?
