Wow set your DVR's we may witness an extremely rare phenomenon. Alabama actually being called for a holding penalty!

That is optimistic, I have seen Texas Tech lineman have DEs in choke-holds and not get holding penalties called.
I hope they give Alabama 3 Technicals...

Wait, this is football, damn.

Wow, the coverage on the long TD pass to Blackmon was terrible. I mean, the catch was great but that ball hung in the air for a llloonnggg time. Picked off by anyone that plays in our secondary.

Once you have your man beat deep, doesn't matter how long the ball takes if it is on target (in fact higher balls are harder to deflect). What was really sad were the safeties.

Anybody losing to Iowa State probably shouldn't be running off at the mouth about anything. Go back to the last part of your little video and take note of the words winning field goal. Let that sink in for a while. That's how you win on the road in overtime.

Well, it would have been in regulation, but I catch your drift.

I'm over it, I really am, this is still the best team in school history, the greatest season in school history, and our first BCS berth. This isn't the first time I have felt left out, disrespected, or disappointed, and it wont be the last. But I take heart in knowing that we will be here again, and all this will just make our first NC all the sweeter.

realy i blame ok states coach for the way people voted, the comment he made last weak was awful i would fire him. his mouth got yall out the game imo, but i think he didnt want to get blown out in n.o

Well, after OU he did say he thought we deserved to play for the NC...

and it was Miles who decided he wanted to play Bama instead of OSU with his ballot...

we dont give a shite if its 3-0 a W is a W and 14-0 is 14-0

i also dont think your offense would do very well against us personally

21 pts maybe IMO

As any good fan shouldn't, NCs are NCs.

And I would point at the Oregon and WVU games, it is possible to score on you. OSU is like WVU on steroids when it comes to offense, and just plain better on defense. A month to game plan would make things interesting though.

Like I said though, we will never know, so we can just move on.
quote:

do you realize that pokies havent played anyone who has had any where neer a defense like bama or LSU's??

anyone can score 40 on OU's sorry arse defense

Yup, the best defense we faced this year was Texas, who are pretty good, but not amazing. I am sad we wont get to face a defense like that this year, because I think we would do well, but I would like to put it to the test.

That said, I thought some of you might find this amusing, it is Ok to laugh at yourselves on occasion, I found Gundy's Meltdown funny.

I also think I speak for the nation when I say you should try to score a little more of Bama this time.
quote:

yea and i like defense too

I could provide choice words about that and OU, but I'm in a good mood now.

I don't hate LSU, but I think this is funny regardless of who you support.
quote:

Go work on your defense some and maybe you can play Bama in the 2012 BCSNCG.

Look at Texas Tech, Baylor, and Oklahoma, 3 top fifteen offenses offenses. We held them to 6, 24, and 10 respectively. We held them to a total of 3 points in the first half (Oklahoma kicked a 48 yard FG at half) after which the games were practically put away.

We have a defense.

Don't hate the playa's, Hate tha Game...

They will be safe if they don't wear anything resembling Crimson.
Currently I would say Alabama is more hated in Stillwater than OU.

The freshest wounds are the deepest, and boy was last night cathartic. I'm sure it will revert to normal in a month or so.

BTW, OSU is 1-0 versus Alabama
I'm an OSU fan, I'm bitter, and Alabama in my mind can not win the National Championship. I am probably going to eventually find out the results of the championship game, but they don't matter to me. I'm going to congratulate y'all now before I get over myself and start hyping myself up for the Fiesta Bowl. THIS ONE IS FOR ALL THE TOSTIDOS.

Hats off to Miles, he has put together a great season.

I think I have a different definition of "our place"

To me, "our place" is what we take for ourselves. The media may not recognize it yet, but our place is not in Oklahoma's shadow. I know where the media thinks we stand, but I don't recognize their right to tell us whether we can or can't beat Alabama, LSU, OU, or anyone else.

Where the media put us, where the coaches put us, it isn't our place.
quote:

This is where, as a fan, you need to come to grips and "know your place" in the CFB world.

If you were Oklahoma, with your resume (including the loss to Iowa State), you would be in the game with a win this weekend.

Sorry. You must win out. Not trying to be a dick, but that's the breaks when you aren't an entitled/media darling program.

Every OSU fans knows that if we were wearing Crimson (whether is be OU's, 'Bamas, or the Other OSU), we would be win and in, OU had a worse loss than we did and they were back in the title hunt until they lost to Baylor.

That doesn't mean it is our place, and we wont accept the story the media has put down for us. Screw the old guard, Gundy has made this into a team that can compete with anyone, anytime, anywhere. We will not go quietly into the night, this team is hungry, and will do everything to shut its doubters up.

If LSU thinks they want to play Alabama, imagine how OSU feels. At least y'all can hang your hat on a win. We are facing a situation where we never get to shut the smug bastards up.
OSU matches up real well to OU this year, probably flat out has a better team, toss on key injuries, and this game shows every sign that OSU will break OU's Bedlam streak.

OU has weak safety play and average corners, begging to be lit up by OSU.

OSU's defensive strength is the secondary, the teams who kept close with us just ignored passing the ball for the most part. Oklahoma can't do that as an offense.

Be ready for some fireworks in Stillwater

One thing I like to mention about RGIII is that OSU has his number cold. He didn't score a touchdown against us until the 4th quarter of his last game against us, when we had our 2nd team defense in. He is an amazing talent, but every now and the OSU plays a little defense.

Enjoy it while it lasts, you never know when it will be gone...
*Sad memories of Iowa State, Eddie Sutton and Kurt Budke*
Luck, James, Griffin, Jones, and Blackmon are all possible candidates, but I bet EA tries to find a player from the East Coast this year, ACC, Big East, maybe even Big 10.
