Certainly there are fans on either side of the "bell curve" when it comes to idiocy, lewdness, or whatever. It's the 80% in the middle that make up the "core" or the essence of the fan base and core Bama fans love this. You know it will be on T-shirts in Tuscaloosa before Mardi Gras.

Grew up in LA but now live in AL and I will tell you from close observation, there is a HUGE difference between Bama fans and the rest of humanity. However, most people think that it's the ignorant rednecks that are the most offensive and the opposite is true. Those with money (supposed upper middle class) and a Bama pedigree are the WORST.

The kid that shot the video and the sportscaster's son who was the wannabe teabagger come from Mobile society -- the meanest, cliqueish bunch there are. It's an environment of people who snub and bully their way through life. They are the ANTITHESIS of southern Louisiana folks.

Sure, the teabagger is a POS, but the others cheering and standing by, AND FILMING, are just as culpable. I hope they all get what they deserve.

Whatever. We're playing, he's watching. Tigers take care of business and whip Bama's arse in GOTC Part Deux -- The Home Dome.

On cfl, pollack said their defense is the reason they are on a ten game winning streak.what offensive juggernauts have they shut down? UGA has benefited from not playing LSU, Bama and Arkansas to date.

THIS.

Weak wins on mediocre (at best) teams. Georgia outscored common opponents, 159-72 while LSU outscored common opponents, 230-44.

Got a few calls and texts from Aubies who are euphoric over the LSU win.

Bama fans all say the better team lost, but I just say "9-6". They are all waiting for this weekend for Miss. St. and thinking they are going to hang 50 on the Bullies as punishment for losing to LSU. It would totally MAKE MY YEAR if Bama loses or even struggles against MSU. THAT, would be some serious butt hurt.
"All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing" -- Edmund Burke

What if...
The GA who witnessed the attack (or his father)had made even an anonymous phone call to Child Protective Services over what he saw at least to shine a light on Sandusky?

JoePa had practiced what he preached and "done the right thing" and insisted that Curly and Schultz and Granier report the incident to CPS, at the very least?

Yes, the program and JoePa would likely have taken a hit and he maybe even would have had to resign, but at least he would be able to look in the mirror and not feel like the biggest hypocrite ever.

Remember, this was all taking place when the abuse in the Catholic Church was heavily covered in the media. It's likely that McQueary wanted his dream job (and his witness of the crime assured that as long as he kept quiet. JoePa couldn't stand to think of losing his venerated demi-god status and the "administration" didn't want the monetary liability of a huge settlement to even one victim.

Personally, I think this thing goes a whole lot deeper than what we know so far. It all stinks the high heavens, even the coincidence of the missing DA.

Now you are making Joepa the sheriff of PSU, up to him to eradicate all wrongdoing on campus.

Not the whole campus, but his staff and his facilities, YES! How asinine is it to say that he "followed procedure". If one of those boys were your son or grandson, would you think Joe Pa's actions were sufficient. Or, better yet, what if your son/grandson was molested AFTER 2002 by that POS Sandusky, after Joe Pa had TWO reports of his behavior and did basically NOTHING?

Ludicrous to even have the conversation. :banghead:
Thanks for posting. Some of these judgemental reactionaries who write this kid off as some mafia thug gangbanger from New Orleans should see this.

Having a 20yr. old college Soph., I can tell you that there are many "surprises" that can happen when they're out there on their own for the first time.

Those are great people who have raised a good son. The foundation is there and he'll find his way.

Yeah, sorry...wrong Youtube. Fixed now.

Correction! It IS the play of the year in College Football....by ERIC REID!

Man, that is gold.

Correcting my bad grammar...

They're starting to eat their young. McCarron ON the spit now. Coming up...Saban, Williams, FG kickers, and SEC officials.

Right, because that would have been the end of the game. There wasn't the WHOLE 4th quarter left.

Now, their starting to eat their young. McCarron the spit now.
THAT is called SPECIAL TEAMS, my man.

You started deep in your territory because our punter is THAT GOOD.

Deal with it.

:doublebird:

How many times were they within the 30 yd line?

Looked it up...Bama within the 30 three times for -17 yards and 1 turnover.

They also had two drives to just passed the 30.

At least five times...but only ONCE inside the 20.
I live in Mobile and my husband's golf buddies cried a river yesterday and today about how the best team lost due to:

- bad calls on every good thing Bama did (clipping on INT return)
- Reid's "taking" the ball from Williams
- Mathieu's "clothesline" of Kirkpatrick
- Wing's punt hitting the guidewire (it didn't)
- Special Teams
- Nick Saban's stupidity
- the weather, etc., etc.
:violin:

Still, the Bammers cannot give LSU their due.

I did have ONE FB friend who posted a nice congratulatory message and said we deserved to win. Few and far between, however.

That's ok. I've got my facts and will continue to extoll the BEST team in the country -- LSU!

:geauxtigers:
The ABubbies really hate him because of his love of Saban, The Bear, and all things Crimson.

As for me, "War Eagle"!! Hope Auburn makes the Bammers really cry in The Iron Bowl.

Paul pays no attention to TM7's apology. "He may have been still high."

Wow, the class of these clowns (or lack thereof) is remarkable.

YOU LOST! DEAL WITH IT! :spank:
