Duck Sports Authority's A.J. Jacobson joined Chad Doing and Matt Brock on 750 The Game
Predicts a "Blitz Fiesta" for J Lee in hopes of causing interceptions. Said they will stop the run and force LSU to pass.
This could get ugly in a good way. Come on Jay Lee.

one pass by Lee to a hot route in the second level and this all ends very quickly.

So will it be a blitz fiesta or stop the run??? isn't it kinda hard to do both effectively?

Dont underestimate our secondary, just because Cliff Harris is gone! We still have a very good secondary regardless of him being back there or not! Im pumped to see how this all plays out!

So they're gonna blitz the shite out of us while shutting down the run? If Kelly can pull that off, he needs to patent that defense.

Not underestimating your secondary, but if they plan to blitz a lot and stop the run that means a lot of man coverage on the outside. I just dont see that working that effectively.

None of your starters would be starting in LSU's secondary. Fact.

if they constantly blitz around the ends...Ware may have 300 yards rushing

exactly, JL's int problems in 2008 were from throwing into heavy coverage. My guess is he takes apart islands.

RR on the quick slant. DPete on the audible fly route. Audible both backs to pick up the blocks. The General can hit those throws.

If we're running everytime on 1st and 10, and we're constantly in 3rd and long, the Ducks may be able to do this.
The key, stay away from 3rd and long.

I would say screens and draw, but Lee seems to be terible on screen passes in teh past.
Lee's best route is the go route. 3 step drop and chunk it a few times. Also, bust some HB draws to Ware, Ford, Blue, and Magee adn I see them breaking past that blitz and running FAR.
As Spurrier used to say, "They don't back up if you don't throw it deep."

That and throwing off his back foot,..and offensive line wasn't as good either...
