re: Can Arkansas wait till we play before crying?

Many of the above points are correct.
But considering the whole body of works, this is how I see it.
1. If they would have beaten Bama, they would be ranked in top 5 (above BS). But they didn't.
2. Even if they were left at 7 in the current BCS rankings. It would take more than just beating LSU to get to no. 2, 5 other teams would have to lose between now and the end of the season. How likely is that to happen. Not very.
3. For all the comments about USCe being so highly ranked; "South Carolina was ranked No. 9 in the BCS because of its record, but was largely viewed as a struggling team", Arkansas should look in the mirror and see the same thing with weak wins against weak teams.
Instead of crying, the Pigs should be trying to build credibility like LSU and Bama have done over the years.
This is a better scenario for them: Run the table including beating LSU. Okie State and/or Stanford lose and Bama reaches the BCS NC game. In this case Arkansas can go to the Sugar Bowl for the second time and build from there. Of course this isn't going to happen because LSU is going to hand them their butt on a platter come Nov. 25. At that point TJ Carpenter will have to write about how Arkansas is not championship material.
EDIT: Of course it would mean Bama goes to SEC CG and wins then goes on to BCS NC game. Arkansas would probably be ranked ahead of LSU by virtue of beating them. :geauxtigers:

re: Olin Kreutz to visit Saints... ETA: Signs w/ team

I think it would be good if we can get him for 1 year and have Tennant learn under him. We are thin at interior linemen. So he could serve as backup in case one of these guys go down. U never know Kruetz may come in at a bargain price.
re: Roby vs Arrington vs Fayson

Well, he definitely did not have a good year last year. The coaches have been saying this during offseason. I like Roby. But I think that we can do better with Sproles or somebody else with more speed.
Roby vs Arrington vs Fayson

It's going to be interesting to see the competition for the fifth WR spot develop.
Roby's been the incumbent the last several years and our gunner on special teams. But he appears to be slowing down.
Arrington has been on the PS the last 3 years but is no longer eligible. He doesn't play on ST so that hurts him. This is his year to break through or he might be out.
From what I have been hearing Fayson might be the surprise of this camp. Unfortunately, he may not have enough time to develop to make the final roster.
I would like to see Arrington's hard work and patience pay off and become that 5th receiver. That would mean that Roby would likely be out. In that case someone, likely Sproles, would have to take over KO return duties.
Also would need a gunner to replace him. Unless Fayson blows up in the preseason, it's likely he goes to PS.
What do yall say?
