I've been pleased with the Presto Granpappy fryer. Small but I find it's just the right size, easy to use and store.

Season filets with salt and pepper. Place in food saver bags and remove most air (not shrink tight). Sous Vide at 135 degrees for 35-40 mins. Remove and finish in cast iron with garlic, lemon and butter 15 seconds each side.

Not sure where you're getting your information from. They are absolutely distilling their own Rye whiskey. Just out of curiousity who do you think is sourcing for them?

There was a thread several months ago about chocolate labs and people who had experiences buying from them. Any updates on the dogs? I just put a deposit on a male that will be bred in Nov (sire Chopper, dam Nikki).

GF and I ate there Thursday night. Our experience was similar to others I'm reading. Staff seems to be very disorganized, especially the two girls working the register. Those types of things seem to get worked out over time. Our impression of the pie was that it was pretty good. We kept it simple and got the neopolitan round pepperoni. The place was packed around 630pm and the wait was supposedly 25 mins but turned out to be more like an hour. The wait didnt bother me much but it was getting under some customers skin. One guy actually went up to the counter bitching and Papa Della came around the register and literally yelled at the guy "you see me back here working dont you?!? I make pizza to order so be patient, its not like im back there doing nothing!" He did later walk back out and looked like he apologized to the guy for yelling at him. shite was pretty freaking funny. I'll be back, close to the house and looking forward to trying the meatball sandwich.
