Hatcher has a knack for stopping the run.... His build reminds me of Harry Coleman, I don't think he'd have any trouble moving to OLB and contributing. This talk about him being a terrible athlete and not a contributor for LSU are a bunch of people that don't know what they are talking about. Even though he didn't start his entire career at LSU, he has been a solid special teams player for us prior to this season. Let's not act like the guy can't play defense, he just doesn't have the speed to provide over the top coverage on deep routes. Put him at linebacker, I don't see any reason why he'd have problems with any of the LB defensive assignments.

From a very very Very Reliable source, you can book it that SID is not going to Redemptorist.
Right let's give the program with all the stud running backs in it's stable to a guy that runs the ball 10 times a game. I just don't see it happening.

Brian Billick anyone? Heard him on a ESPN Radio call in show back around the time of the near tennessee debacle, and he spoke pretty fondly about the position.

Pelini Would probably get a look, although idk if I'd consider him a GREAT hire.

Patterson is probably not going anywhere.

Dan Mullen would be a home run hire, but if he turned down UF, I don't see where LSU would be more appealing.

Tubberville -- NO thanks, don't smoke cigars on the eye of the tiger and then expect to be the coach some day.

Saban -- It's a long shot, but I would expect them to at least give him a phone call.

Petersen-- I think that this would be a great hire if you could convince him to jump, ESPECIALLY if he brought Harsin with him. I am not sure who there DC is off the top of my head, but I think Chavis might stay on as the DC with this hire. He built Boise State and has proven time and time again that he can coach with the big boys. (see his defeat of Bob stoops)
