Salty's has an amazing view. If she goes there tell her to go Husky Deli for great ice cream afterwards. Another place similair to Salty's is Palisade in Magnolia. Depending on how picky/adventurous she is Ezelle's in the central district has great fried chicken and there are tons of great places...

Easy Street Records in Seattle is very popular. It might be because of the thriving Indie scene there, but still a big deal either way.
