Church League superstar. It's standard practice that you have to be able to "Get Net" to be offered a D-1 Scholarship.

I'm sure Jeff Lee reads these threads and laughs. He is getting th exact reaction that he's looking for.

I'm glad others are also tired of the douches complaining about how ESPN hates LSU. It obviously doesn't impact our recruiting (Please logically reason through your argument before disagreeing). It's encouraging that it's only the LSU "message board" fans, and not the normal "real life" fans, that constantly complain about how unfair everything is. Tiny Violin. Surely you must always be in a sour mood thinking the world is out to get us. ESPN conspires against us, all other schools pay their players, the NCAA is in on the Newton scandal, George Bush hates white people. This is an awesome board, I only wish we had fewer little girl post. But what do I know, I'm just a noob with brown teeth and a smelly gouche who wears backwards fitted hats.

That's really caddy. That has to reflect negatively on his career as an analyst. Say something bad about his kids, even if true, and you'll be in for a confrontation. Acceptable at the trailer park, not so much elsewhere.

I think when he announced Greg Robinson called Trooper and wondered WTF. Then AU told Cyrus to wait a few days and go to another school. I believe he was turned away by AU.

This is sarcasim right?

Mario Edwards is listed as the number 1 prospect according to the Bleacher Report Top 100

He said his mama faxed in his LOI 'cause she thought that's where he wanted to go. He faxed his own in later. Apparently she was trying to help, but boggled things in the process. Why would a coach tell a kid to GTFO because of a botched LOI? You either want a kid or you don't ... their ability to fax probably doesn't factor into that at all.

That's shockingly naive. Surely you don't believe that.

From the last thread days before yours I was interested to hear that Rohan worked at UPS. Then I saw your post that he was making Jerk Chicken. Both are a far cry from what I thought he'd be doing (living in MIA with other Jamaican expats). So I thought it was an inside tiger rant joke.

Dude, I will punch you in the face if you talk about the Rohan like that again. Nobody, and I mean nobody, direspects Rohan and gets away with it
quote:

I had a buddy who used to live next to Rohan out in Tigerland back when he first got married. He always talked about how great that guy's Jerked Chicken was. That makes this believable for me.

HaHaHa, Please tell me this was a funny joke.
Ha, Your an idiot. Cheers as well,

So do you believe or not that the NCAA was bribed? If you constantly post things that you don't believe, it makes it difficult to know if you are as ignorant as you come across. Keep taking pride in that post count bro, your really buring me up good with that one!
quote:

Cadello is respected sir.

Man, Maybe, but I typically cringe when I read his post. He comes across as a bitter and his post have a "Why's everybody body always picking on me" tone. I am a cynic, and it is even hard for me to believe that Cadello really believes that the NCAA offical's were bribed, but I know he does. Do you realize the magnitude of the accusation that is?!? I doubt it, although I am sure you will claim otherwise. When you say irrational things like that, it discredits your rational arguments. It's like the conspiracy theorist. While the occasional conspiracy is valid, anyone who endorses all conspiracies is irrational and should never be taken seriously. It amazes me that someone can write a grammatically coherent post filled with incoherent thoughts.
Your starting to bury your original argument. I've had to many cocktails, so I'm not even going to attempt to logically follow this argument from the start, but I think it started out how our coaches dropped the ball by not landing certain LB recruits. It just seems to me like if these type recruits are so difficult to land (so difficult, that Chavis has had to alter his coaching style over the years) that maybe our coaches didn't lay such an egg after all by not signing them. I have absolutley no desire to re-read this entire argument to nit pick, but that's just my once over intial impression.

"Anyone Convinced against their will is still of the same opinion." Yall should just agree to disagree.
quote:

I've had to suffer through so many years when the top programs at the time would come in and snatch 5-star type players like... Billy Cannon,... and so many more than I care to name. And in every case the LSU coaching staff at the time busted their balls to keep these stars at home - and couldn't

Billy Cannon not only stayed at LSU, but he is one of our most famous alumni. Maybe I am misreading your post,
What I've learned in my few months on this board is that there is a disproportionate amount of miserable LSU fans who frequent these boards. Most probably have a poor complexion, a small penis, or are single and blow dudes. I don't agree with your coaching assesment for a few reasons, but I can understand the angle you were comming from. I think drawing blanket conclusions (Our coaches recruited poorly) from such a small individualized sample (Because we didn't land player A,B,C) is often inaccurate. I think it falls back on the "Causation vs Correlation" argument.
