I have a want to see Etling succeed at QB!
Chances special teams blows is 100%. I dunno if they're gonna blow IT, but only time will tell...

Theres no way 8 of our guys being on half the field was an error. There definitely was something going on or some kind of missed call.

Go back and watch the play again. The first problem was that it was supposed to be a kick left, but the kick went too far right. (Probably trying too hard to keep it inbounds ) Then, the only man we actually had in the lane that the return man took was clearly blocked in the back. It looked like a second LSU player was held from behind as well (jersey grab).

Bottom line, we still screwed up. Hopefully we will have some sort of fix for this next week. Don't understand how Domingue can kick 40-50 yard FGs no prob, but then can't get it into the endzone on kickoffs using a tee. Seems like his kicks are going way too high. Maybe we can try using a holder and scrap the tee for kickoffs? :dunno:
Our Australian punter scholarships should've ended with B Wing
I was seriously thinking he was gonna have #1 and #2
I hope we're looking at a Category 5 today!!

Trust me I'm pulling for every SEC team to lose besides LSU, so we can jump up in the rankings. I was referring to the post claiming Florida will/could play in the NCG. This whole thread is assuming a lot to fall into place. My point is, it's College Football...anything can happen.

ND is gonna get beat by USC

Tough to see this happening if Barkley doesn't play (injury). If ND loses, Florida still has to beat Fla. St....will be a good game to watch.

Why do people just assume bama beats UGA

For me, the Championship IS the SEC CG. The last time an SEC team went to the NCG and lost (not counting last year since it was SEC vs. SEC) was in 1995 when Florida lost to Nebraska. Since then SEC is 9-0 in NCG appearances.

I guess I understand those who want to pull for ND if you like going for the underdog. That being said: Auburn over Bama, Fla. St. over Florida, Texas over K. St., Oregon St. over Oregon, so LSU can play in the SEC CG, win, and have a good chance of playing in the NCG. Hey, anything can happen! We saw what happened this week, right? There is one week of regular season football to watch.

I really don't believe that either team was better. In the history of "split titles" I dont see how much more evenly split this could be 13-1 and 12-1; 1-1 vs each other. Unlike Bama fans, however, I'm not about to start claiming titles that we didn't win. Let's just say that I think this year was more evenly split than '03 ever thought about being when LSU and USC never faced each other, although the majority of voters wouldn't agree with me. (And FWIW, I think '03 LSU would have murdered USC...)
Anyway, the diference in the Jan. 9 game was Alabama's kicker didnt choke as many times and JJ choked for the entire game this time instead of half of it.

However painful it was to watch us lose the last game of the year...we still played a great season.
You can't take that away no matter if we didn't bring home the "best" trophy at the end.
How can you say it was all for nothing? Anybody can have a bad day (JJ/CLM). I mean yeah, it crushed all of my hopes and dreams to watch us lose that bad and not give JL a chance to at least see what he could do...but what you gonna do?? I'm sure there will be plenty of other frustrating games to watch as long as we have a coach with no offensive wits...I can't wait!! :violin:
