Who knows what Miles will do, but Leach/Chavis would be very exciting.

If you want to play Oregon schedule a fricking home and away.

If you're okay with scheduling a home/away with Oregon then you should be okay with playing 1 neutral site game. This way, LSU can schedule another home game next year instead of being forced to go to Oregon. In either of these two scenarios, LSU plays 1 home game over 2 years. So would you rather have the "away" game in a large alum city that is within driving distance from BR, or play in Eugene, Oregon???

Sounds like if you had your way we would only schedule cupcakes at home for all non-conference games.

So what does LSU AD do? They fricking send 60,000 Tiger fans to Dallas to drop millions in hotel, gas, food, alcohol, and ticket revenue to Texas.

This might surprise you, but Alleva's #1 priority is not to boost the local economy.

why did Stevion Lowe leave the team?
This is exactly why you don't give coaches huge long-term contracts. Very few coaches are great for long periods of time.

I've never understood why coaches always get big extensions after 1 or 2 good seasons. If they leave, they leave . . . who cares. Coaches are very replaceable and few are good enough to warrant long term extensions/contracts.

This is getting political, but this kind of thinking just pisses me off. I think sky diving is scary and dangerous (and I even have the facts to back it up) but I don't try to make it illegal or "safer". I just don't go sky diving. If you think pitching a baseball to a hitter with a metal bat is too scary and dangerous then don't do it, let your kids do it, or pay to watch it. But you don't need to make the all of society conform to your view of right/wrong or safe/dangerous. Injuries are going to happen in sports. Yes, you need to keep sports reasonably safe, but college baseball already was. It's definitely a lot safer than college football. You could justify a lot of silly things under the guise of "safety".

Did YOU know that between 1991 and 2001 there were 17 players killed by batted balls?

I really don't think this is true.
Regardless, tackle football is pretty dangerous. Kids get paralyzed and suffer concussions. Should we outlaw it and only play flag football?
If you're this concerned about always doing the safest thing possible then maybe sports just aren't for you.

wtf . . . really?
I don't get it either. Do people honestly believe the physical location of our offensive coordinator is what ails the offense??? Nonsense.

Is this what you people calling for this think:
"If only JJ could talk to Gary face to face after a 3 & out things would be very different"
What a boondoggle.
Les has never seen a glass half empty, only one he wants to be full.

He doesn't always play quality opponents, but he does claim they all are

Les once tried to read a book, but ran out of time.
He wants multiplicity, but certainly enjoys mediocrity.

He doesn't fart, he has the want to shite.

Problem w/using both JJ & Lee

Going forward, it appears we will probably bring JJ into the game every now and then to give the defense a different look. I think its going to be dreadfully predictable that an option run is coming when JJ enters the game. I don't like this. Plus, JJ really isn't a great runner and I'd much rather give the ball to Ridley (who is a good runner). Miles seemed to dismiss the predictability of occasionally bringing in JJ when asked about it today.
