Agree on LaSpada, he is a dual-threat great with tremendous upside he is going to tear up Mass D1 this coming season. Kid is a game-changer on the ground and through the air.
LaSpada yet another award in Mass.
AFDC Redzone Player of the Year - LaSpada
"Enough can't be said about LaSpada and his ability to make plays. Despite his team's struggles, he was able to post Madden-type numbers. The junior threw for over 2400 yards and 25 touchdowns. On the ground, he torched opponents for 14 scores while also catching one.
LaSpada is arguably the most electrifying player in the state. He forces defenses to pay attention to him on every snap, and many times multiple players tasked with the responsibility of shadowing him the entire game.
The local media aren't the only ones talking about Nick; he is on the ESPN 150 watch-list, and has been discussed in fan chat rooms from Gainsville, FL to Eugene, OR."

A tremendous article on LaSpada
LaSpada - MVC best ever
"Just two games into his junior season, LaSpada is not just the consensus top player in the state and a Division 1A college football prospect, but many already consider him the greatest quarterback in the history of the Merrimack Valley Conference, which was founded in 1965."
"LaSpada has to be at the top of the list," said Bob Aylward, the longtime Tewksbury head coach (1974-89, 1995-96) and father of current Redmen coach Brian Aylward.
"Given his ability to run and throw, and just his game-breaking ability put him in a very special category. He is one of the very special athletes. He has to rank among the all-time, all-time greats."

Big time, here's a great read on LaSpada from ESPN Boston dated today. This play-maker is ready to bust out, the hype is growing for the Massachusetts QB...
LaSpada ESPN Boston (9/8/2010)
"Yet these days, Flynn can't sing enough praises about his current signal-caller, going so far as calling him the best athlete -- period -- to walk through the halls since Tom Glavine.
And with good reason. If one is not sold on the hype surrounding Nick LaSpada, the reigning state Gatorade Player of the Year -- and first sophomore to win it in state history -- one only needs to look at the suitors. Starting this past Sept. 1, the first day juniors are allowed to receive mail from colleges, the letters poured in from all over -- Notre Dame, Alabama, Illinois, Minnesota, Penn State, Oregon, Wisconsin, Boston College, you name it. "
""It'd be easier to tell you who hasn't," chuckled Flynn, who had another 20 letters sitting in his office to give him after practice. Heck, Flynn says Oregon head coach Chip Kelly emailed him recently to tell him he thinks LaSpada will be one of the most sought-after recruits nationwide in the Class of 2012"

Who wouldn't be tired of the cold, he would have the Tigers back in "The Show" in no time. He is already an ESPNU projected 150 for 2012.
Look, for any recuits who may scan this board, coaches up here call him "A man amoung boys on the football field", "Ahead of his time". He is a cornerstone you would want running your offense. He's that rare, rare type of athlete who's greatness makes everyone around him better. Keep your tabs on him, he opens up at Burlington on 9/12.

Hello Tiger fans and other SEC fans, I come to you from Massachusetts to talk about a superstar QB we have in Billerica, MA (Nick LaSpada). Right now he is a projected top 5 QB recruit for 2012 and IMO, will be a top 1-2 QB recruit after this season (his junior year).
6'3", 190lbs. Extra-ordinary athletism, high-end elite speed, a tackle-breaker, a game-changer all wrapped up into the body of an elite QB who can make all the throws, a lazer arm, a game-changer, a true play maker. Believe me, he is being looked at now by Florida, FSU, Oregon as well as Penn State and things are just beginning as he enters his junior season.
Tiger fans, SEC fans, get on this kid early. He won the Massachusetts Gatoraid Player of Year award last year (only sophomore in history). He can do it all, the best to come out of MA that I can ever remember.
