In my experience, most Tarheel fans don't trash talk until AFTER the game ... that is assuming they win.

I have a feeling that when the team takes the field, the best players will all be out there for UNC.
I am worried this will have a psychological affect on LSU. I hope I am wrong. But if you are supposed to play a really good team and all of a sudden their players may not play, you might fall victim to a mindset of hoping that to be true. Then when it isn't true, you've lost the edge.
UNC is playing this tight to the vest--no depth chart released, closed practice, etc. Maybe they are simply holding out hope but I think this is gamesmanship.
Les better have the players convinced they are playing Little and the Gang.

they are sad. their hopes were dashed by the worst kind of problem for a school with pretense, cheating at academics. So... UNC will slink away and be pretty good, but not a competitor for national honors. They will be hunting for a HC after this plays out.
PS. I love that the hired hand who is implicated in the cheating was hired by the HC, and the infamous 'work' was done in his house. This cant end well.

There is no real information on this. Neither UNC nor Butch Davis have confirmed any of the supposed facts being reported.

They can still remember underdog LSU 38-3 over Ga Tech.
THey can still remember underdog LSU smashing Miami THE U so bad (40 to not much) it took them until NOW to get over it.
I think with their NFL first round defense players it would have been a game, but not now.
