If you plan on putting anything over a 26" mud tire on an automatic, your not gonna like it. The auto is not geared low enough. The ES and manual shift have the same gears. The auto with IRS is ok for trails with trail tires, but not for mud and mud tires....
I bought 2 of them last December. I'm very satisfied with them. Just don't get the camo fenders, they will peel off leaving you with a tan bike. We do a lot of riding all year long and have had no problems. Mine is the 4x4 manual shift w/ power steering, which is wonderful and my sons is white elect...

Set lines at night, catch some good flatheads for a couvion (sp?). Man them was good times....
We been running our coon dogs on our hunting lease. Killing lots of coons. But we shooting 'em with the .22....

One of my friend has one he uses as his truck gun. He hasn't had any problems and shoots great. As far as reliability, no problems....
I bought the M&P .40 and I love it. Believe it cost me around 500 new. Great shooting gun. Its my daily conceiled carry pistol. I've put about 1500 rds through it and no problems. Came with three interchangable backstraps to fit different size hands....
