Huge movie buff...

Fell asleep 30 minutes into it first time. Finally saw whole thing second go round and it was mediocre.

I won't say it sucked arse, but it was no where near being worthy for all the hype. I did not really enjoy the movie at all... Seemed very dumbed down and insisted upon itself.

Time piece.

I found it rather unenjoyable and the characters were disgusting human beings. Keep in mind, it's a Spike Lee Joint.

re: Who loves Miles??

Long time listener, first time caller...

Dandy is absolutely right. I remember attending the 2004-05 Sugar Bowl (Va Tech vs. Auburn), and all of the LSU fans there were expressing their disdain on the hiring decision. I had already seen the videos of Les floating around since the hire and I liked the guy. As a young chap, I got behind my coach. His inaugural year at LSU, I fell in love with the guy. Yes, we lost the SEC Championship and went on to school Miami.... such a memorable season!

Les came to LSU with fire and intensity. It seems as if the administration calmed him down and told him to act more reserved. He still has that intensity deep down, and I love that in a coach.

It seems that it will take another Championship for fans to finally accept Miles. He's a standup guy... no rumors about his personal life outside of football. This guy is a diehard. It feels good to have one of us down there coaching our boys -- win or lose.
