I'm pretty sure I heard Chouest say that when he takes over, which will apparently be soon, he's going to make sure CP stays in a Hornets uniform

Unless you know him personally, you didn't. The guy hasn't given an interview since he was announced as minority owner like 2-3 years ago. Someone with the Times Pic reported this but who knows how true it is, how serious he is about it if true, whether CP's decision to play summer ball may have changed any plans, etc.

Lee and Okafor would still be a really small frontcourt.

Aaron Gray is a 7 footer that we can bring off the bench that is decent enough in his role.
Let me preface what I'm about to say by mentioning CP3 is my favorite player in the league.

With that said, CP3 has been banged up badly the last two seasons, and isn't doing anything to help himself by playing yet another summer with Team USA. There are no guarantees with torn ligaments in the knees, and as someone who relies on his wheels so much, you have to worry about the possibility he won't be able to return to form, or at least stay healthy for multiple full seasons + playoff runs.

Our biggest two needs right now are 1) Big that can score, rebound, and play D; 2) SF that play D and slash.

This trade would take care of #1.

We can take care of #2 in the draft.

Hate to say it, but it's true.

Don't know the original comment, but if he just made a general statement that he would personally choose to abort a fetus that doctors said would be born with a defect, you are being way too sensitive.

Really shows you what a cattle call the NFL draft is. None of these guys amounted to shite.

Yea Tyson was on there last I checked. Amazing work.

Have seen King of Kong-- very clutch movie IMO. Gotta love that douchebag that avoided playing the main guy.
People round here dont know how to follow directions very well.

Never understood the point of this debate. It doesn't have to be an either/or thing.

May have been the best position change in LSU history.

Talk about overperform though. Guy was good but not as great as the numbers suggested. Hence going Round 2, whereas other LSU WRs (Bowe, Davis) with worse numbers have gone Round 1.

No need to bash our defense. That ain't the problem.
I've never heard this story. I doubt it's true.

All-Rook team doesn't have to be your typical PG/SG/SF/PF/C format. Check out 2002-03:

Yao Ming
Amare Stoudemire
Caron Butler
Drew Gooden
Nenê Hilario

Might have been a different story if he came here. The USC culture has ruined many a talent.

A lot more people in society share that belief than you think. Certainly more common than "OMG OBAMA IS A MOOSLIM AND WUZ BORN IN KENYA IMPEACH HIM" and other such BS the loons on poli-board get away with.

The Lakers used to play a handful of "home games" in Las Vegas back in the mid 80's. In fact, when Kareem Abdul - Jabbar broke the all time NBA scoring record, he did it at a game here.

I'll be damned. Nice.
Anyone know the answer to this one?

(PS: tandem = 2 in case ya didn't know)
