He will be a watered down Percy Harvin. Under a top coach, he could be a Heisman candidate. Under Miles and Crowton, he'll be used twice a game.

The point is that the SEC's OOC schedule is padded with FCS and non-BCS teams, for the most part. SEC teams typically play some of the weakest OOC schedules around.

Without these easy OOC schedules, we do not have 10 bowl eligible teams, period.

Yes, but as I pointed out earlier in this thread, that has been said of the SEC for the last several years, and it doesn't matter.

Last year, people didn't give Ole Miss a chance against the "high-octane offense" team that beat Texas, and EVERYONE thought Georgia Tech would shred LSU to pieces. They said the SEC was in a down year, and cited weak OOC schedules.

that's debatable. The SEC and Pac 10 is a quality vs quantity debate.

Clearly the top 2 teams are in the SEC, but the Pac is deeper with good teams.

Programs that have been very good of late: LSU, UGA, UT are all down this year.

12-0
11-0
8-3
8-3
7-4

vs.

9-2
8-3
7-3
7-3
7-4

That's debatable? Their best team, Oregon, was dismantled by Boise State.

The Pac-10 looks like they always have, only it looks different because USC is in a down year.

It is overrated this year.

Florida is not as good as last year.
Georgia sucks.
Tennessee sucks.
South Carolina is about to be 6-6.
LSU is underachieving again.
Auburn and Arkansas can't play defense.

I mean seriously....what makes you think the SEC is up to par this year. All the teams that are usually good suck this year.

Yea, but what conference isn't having a down year?

The Big 10's best team is 10-2. The Pac-10's best team is 9-2. People want Miles fired when he goes 9-2. The Big 12 is really just the Big Texas this year.

All the conferences are down, but the SEC still has a 12-0 team, a 11-0 team, and two 8-3 teams.

They've done this for quite awhile now.

Preseason - Sure, the SEC was the best last year, but this year they will be overrated.
Season - See, they're overrated.
Postseason - Who cares about a silly BCS Championship?

Rinse and repeat.

LaFell.

He messed up on a few key drives in the Ole Miss game, but he came right back with a great onside kick recovery and a catch that should have setup a game winning field goal.

The season is pretty much over, but he still plays with a lot of passion. I also like Scott, but unfortunately he's played his last game as a Tiger.

If you look at it game by game, here is what you get:

Washington - J. Jefferson rushed up the middle for 18 yard gain
Vanderbilt - J. Jefferson incomplete pass to the left
ULL - C. Scott rushed up the middle for 4 yard gain
Miss State - C. Scott rushed up the middle for 2 yard gain
Georgia - C. Scott rushed to the right for 7 yard gain
Florida - J. Jefferson rushed up the middle for 3 yard gain
Auburn - C. Scott rushed up the middle for 8 yard gain
Tulane - J. Jefferson passed to B. LaFell to the right for 20 yard gain
Alabama - J. Jefferson passed to T. Toliver down the middle for no gain
La Tech - K. Williams rushed up the middle for 18 yard gain
Ole Miss - K. Williams rushed up the middle for 1 yard gain

Not bad, but all a smart defense has to do is stack the box on the first play and they get a free down.

No, it just sounds like something that would make sense to Miles.

Ford up the middle for a 1 yard gain.
