Please spread the word that as per a NRG(Reliant)Stadium official, the "NFL" clear bag (purse)rule will be in effect for the LSU v Wisconsin game.

Early departures influence on this years recruiting bonanza
Posted by jprejr on 2/5/14 at 2:00 pm
How much does LSU's early NFL departures' influence this seasons recruits to jump on board of the NFL's jv squad now known as LSU-NFL?
You have to first give consideration to the civil war's influence to the notion of football and the "fighting tigers", Lsu's Namesake, and the influence of subsequent wars influence on the evolution of this great university. Not to mention, Huey Long and a host of historical successors whose contributions to political philosophies enabled modern LSU football, along with the generations of fans thru out this great state. All hail the alma mater!

Congrats to the coaching staff and the whole tiger nation! What a great day to be a Tiger fan!
According to jcfootball.scout.com, of the top 40 JC recruits, rated from 5 to 3 stars, 16 have committed to SEC schools broken down by teams:
Tenn 3, Aub 3, TAM 3, Bama 2 and Ole Miss, Moo St, and USCe each having 1. Additionally, 5 others out of that same 40 have SEC schools listed as possible favorites. Again, grades, behavioral issues not with standing, that top 40 list sure could include at least one reformer eligible for Tiger consideration. Just a thought.

JUCO Route

Any reason why we are not looking at any JUCO talent this year. Seems like we have a few holes to plug.

On my feet size 11.5
Staybridge Suites at Nicholson and the South gates of LSU is hands down the best fan experience hotel. A sports bar, Walk On, next door and several restaurants open late in the very same complex as the hotel. Plus its a quick walk to the stadium. Welcome, we hope to see you there!

Take it from a Houston resident, avoid the Houston alt route unless you absolutely have to. I-45 will be a nightmare due to the college schedules for UH, TA&M, plus the LSU faithful, not to mention the yahoo's that live here.
Try the Peabody in Memphis or the casino in tunica both will have a ton of Lsu fans
Just out of curiosity, what kind of def do you think you will get, also can you post a pic? I am considering doing this for one of the last few games and could use your input, advice, recommendations and experience.

Don't attempt that walk! The belle should have busses and you can always catch a cab. You need to catch the team and the band coming down between the Assembly Center and the stadium, and there are several websites that advertise this schedule on Saturday, usually 2-3 hours before kickoff. Depending on your age, Walkon's is great and host a post game radio call in show. TJ Ribs is great, but another cab ride for you. Right under the bridge is Passtimes a great poboy experience. This site should have numerouse suggestions. Geaux Tigers

They might be confused with one of our alum's recruitment of Johnny Hector. There was a few eyebrows raised about a retaliatory comment relative to Hector's signing with aTm. It's ancient history.
My bad, North endzone redo. It musta been the aaaaalchol.
Sorry, I flamed.
Sorry, I flamed.
Although it would be hard, if not logistically impossible to tear down the current stadium, I would like to see a retractable roof Texans type stadium, with a combination of Eagle's stadium seating style arrangement so that the seats have the appearance of being closer to the field. But, tampering with history is almost taboo, so in lieu of above, just put a south endzone cap/repleat with 3 levels of suites, with the intent of adding up to 12,000 faithful in a 80/20 split. The center (or suite exterior facade) facing the field would be a 200 X 75 LCD TV, the likes of which would be unseen in any athletic venue. The outside facing the PMAC would be a screen similar to the one at the new Dallas stadium (aka LSU's west home field) for the faithful without tics.
