No, they don't and my opinion in that matter is not relevant. That was acceptable in that time period. THere were no laws about this then. My grandparents did the same thing!

From a legal stand point maybe not, but based on my morals yes, it would. Too many parents are forgetting teaching their daughters to keep their pants on and mouths shut!

THe situation would be the same if the were reversed. Yes parents failed especially her's I can't deny that.
Obviously there was something appealing for JH and his friend to hook up with this freshman girl, however, if Hill is an adult (mentally) and the girl is a child then why the hell are they in the same school? Would you allow your 14 yr old girl to be in school with 22 yos?
No I wouldn't allow my child to be at the same school, but if that were the case, somebody (a parent) forgot to teach morals!
As for the comment about Terrence, competition is what it is. They are two very different people. And there won't be any competition when it come to Hill and Magee or Hill and Blue or any other RB on the team....Hill won't be there!

I believe the law states that consinting adults are 17 or older. I agree with this. What we are forgetting here is that when you are in the spotlight as our young athlets are, your actions are scrutinized more than that of any other teen because you are being held to a higher standard. Is that right? Probably not, but as a society it is what we do. For example, as a country, we are more concerned and PO with Michael Vicks dog fighting than we are with Tiger Woods' adultry.

With all that is being said, it doesn't negate the fact that he was wrong. They both were. Im a teacher, and there is NOTHING appelaing about a 13 or 14 year old kid. While Hill is still a student he is an adult that committed an adult crime with a CHILD!! He should be punished as any other adult would. Would it be better if he were 25 and she were 15? Would you understand the law more then? Look beyond his athletic ability and see his flaw. Regardless of how many people have done it and what position they held (older student, teacher, coach) it is still wrong. He got caught too bad, so sad, sorry for ya. Suck it up and drive on.
This guy is a tall, dynamic reciever with very good hands. He can run very clean and crisp routes, and always seem to find himself open. He has decent speed, but I think if he could be into a good program like LSU that could be fixed. He has all the tools to make a huge name for himself. I just hope LSU gets him and don't let that talent get away from them.

Chris Briggs from Franklinton would be the best choice. That would give the tigers a much needed weapon for a long ball or 2.

Terrece will be a great addition to the LSU roster. Not only is he an ATHLETE, he is also a great kid. There is 10 years difference between he and I, but even with that he has taught me so much about life and how to humble myself. My family and I are beyond proud of him, not just as an athlete, but as a brother and son too! :nana: :nana:
