She's been gluing walmart bags on her roof since Hurricane Katrina (2005)? No AC. They were only married a month? This is a bizarre situation.
Didn't make sense to me at first either. They were together for 15 years but only married a month before he passed away from cancer. Maybe he thought she would get survivor benefits if they were married. Unfortunately, the weren't married long enough and she doesn't get anything. She does have a little rental on her property that nets 600.00 per month income but if she kicked out the old men that live there out she'd have absolutely no income. She really has no other family to help and no children. At the end of her story with Meg Farris, she talks about leaving her property after she passes to maybe become a battered women's home or a safe haven type home. A blessing could come out of her sad life after all.
The link is the Meg Farris WWL TV interview with the woman and then people trying to help her before she loses her home.
This is a sad and tragic story. Hopefully, they will have a beautiful ending. I can't imagine living under those conditions for over 20 years and not having anyone to help. Prayers for the little lady.

Cinnamon sticks help with the cravings and it you get the kind that are in a jar for cooking, you can hold them as if it were a cigarette and go through the motions of smoking while not get any of the dangerous chemicals. It helps until the cravings pass. I ordered some from Amazon.
The guide is showing that C-Span will carry it.

Your Time...just spend a day with him and put together a book of memories that you could both look through together and remember all the great times in his life. Have conversations about everything he can remember growing up. Believe me, one day you will want to know as much about him as a young man as you can when he is no longer around. I'm wishing he has many happy years with you and your family so please enjoy his company. I wish I still had the chance to celebrate on more special day with my own dad.

I believe I saw on the LSU website that it will remain free but you may want to get there early.

Name Change Request

Several years ago my sister registered on TD.com as TruBlueTiger and became obsessed with all things LSU. She passed away not long after joining and I'd like to change mine to her old one. I humbly ask that you grant my request.
Done! #3625. This little man is kicking butt.

Done. It's sobering to realize how life can be changed in an instant.
