re: Steve Ensminger's role on staff

just curious about what others thought about the position. Every other coach has seemed to receive lots of praise and/or criticism over the miles era. He just seems to fly under the radar.

Steve Ensminger's role on staff

I'm sure this has come up many times but what is exactly does this guy bring to the coaching staff. He is never listed as the lead recruiter on a prospect, and tight ends have been nothing but run blockers for years.

Now we'll miss out on all those natl championships like Payton won at Tennessee.

Cut ensminger loose. Hire major applewhite. He's a co-off coord on a sinking ship at Texas. He can handle rbs/tes. Wilson wrs. Ben can handle the line or get fanaca or mawae to come in.

I agree with replacing ensminger. Still think an all pro nfl lineman can bring in the line talent that we can't get in state. A guy that played at lsu and is going to the hall of fame. Skill players we get in state year in and year out.
My comment wasnt about Jefferson. I think stud runs a good proset vs read option. I'm not a lee or Jefferson guy. I think the coach's got the most out of two average qb's. I think a good line coach who could recruit is our biggest need
Retired since March and living in Thibodeax. O line development would be great
Kevin Mawae too. Need more NFL mojo on team

Krag can fill passing coor role. Stud did well before Jefferson took over. Need a line coach with a bunch of hardware to show o-line recruits

BCS tickets were going to bankrupt the company. Probably sold them on ebay.
LSU facing 8 million in cuts. Sounds like Obama economics. Just think how bad the cuts would be if they didn't get bribed?
These tickets would be wonderful opportunities for local charities to raise money if they would donote the tickets to them.

Upon further review...... Rocketscientist. Why after all the financial investment, the rent a win snoozers, 11:00 games, and not one night game would someone sell the grand prize! We've never seen a more dominating lsu team. To sell the finale can only be the act of someone who doesn't appreciate it or is of weak character. I have too many lsu friends that I would rather share this with at cost than to make a buck and sit next to some stranger. Geaux f'in tigers!

The money is tempting. I'm on the demand side of this so that's where I'm coming from. I do pay taf fees on four tickets and $280 to park. I went to Dallas, and I went to the sec championship and I will pay to get in this game. Stay calm and chive on!
Thanks spankum . Laugh to keep from cryin' then open our wallets and pay out the arse. I'm glad times are so tough, no telling what we'd pay!
No like really - how much?
Can I resell them and squeeze a profit?

Really not bitching. Thought it might make a interesting post. I'll buy my tickets and go. Wish I didn't have to pay that much but I will. Love how people get so emotionally involved in these topics. Back off the roids powerman. A name like that your obviously compensating for something

Money comes and goes but witnessing an Alabama beat down in person will be a lifetime memory and that is the karma that's coming. Geaux tigers!

I'm not against scalping. Just refering to the tickets distributed by LSU. Wish they went to season ticket holders who want to go to the game and enjoy our national championship in person. Was there in 03 and 07 and it is awesome. Didn't get tickets then and didn't expect them this year. My TAF fees on four season tickets is alot for my budget, but I'm a small fish in the TAF pond.
