Aphids or bark scale is the cause of the fungus The copper will kill and dry the black fungus out. When the leaves start to emerge treat with acephate monthly to prevent aphids from coming back.
If it’s bark scale I believe imidacloprid is the best solution. A soul drench of imidacloprid should take care of aphids too.

The only indoor stadium, that I am aware of, with real grass is the Arizona Cardinals. That field actually rolls out of the stadium to get the sun it needs.

last time we played Kentucky at home(don't remember the year) was around the time that the scandal with Skip selling something to Smoke. I was in the Stadium club and looked right at Mr. Bertman and asked him if he had 100k stashed somewhere that I could borrow. It got a good laugh from what I can remember unfortunately he didn't think it was as funny as I did......Damn whiskey.
