My Dad fought in WWII on a carrier in the Pacific. I remember him saying he emailed one of the pilots on the plane that dropped the bomb and thanked him for doing so. He said it had to be done. That's from someone who was on the front each day and saw what happened. He saw and experienced things most of us would have no clue about.
I hate to hear this. Back in 1973 my cousin got me into the Pirate locker room and batting practice before a game with Montreal. I got to meet Parker. He didn’t know me from Jack Frost but treated me like someone he had known for 20 years. Took a picture with me that hangs in my office in Baton Rouge today and he pulled out one of his bats and gave it to me, which I still have. I’ve always respected what he did that day. RIP to a really good dude.
I have prepared 990s for 40 years and the two page form listed is not the full set of forms. It should be about 20 pages long and have the names of all the officers and board members along with compensation. There’s all sorts of required details missing. Just wanted the readers to know.
My wife commented that Trump should have said that the democrats are doing tonight what they’ve done the last four years and that’s just sit on their arse doing nothing and holding up meaningless signs.

I do about 400 individual returns and when the Trump tax changes were passed I ran everyone’s taxes before and after the law changes. I wrote on each clients transmittal form exactly how much the Trump tax changes benefitted them. That way they could ignore TV and know for sure. 98% of my clients saved money and for most of them the savings were significant. I represent everyone across the economic spectrum. There is no question that his changes greatly benefited everyone and were a direct catalyst to the economic surge. The so called rich saved money but in turn gave their employees good raises to pass on some of the money they saved.

The first question they should have asked Biden - Who’s gonna win the Super Bowl this weekend- the Eagles or the Bills? No other questions would have been necessary once he made his pick.

Fill out a Form 911. It’s easy. Fax it in. You’ll have a human assigned to your case that can actually help you. I do this for my clients and get 100% success every time.
If you don’t have a pre-nup and you live in Louisiana, then all your income is likely community property. That means filing separately makes no sense in 99.9% of the cases. All you’ll do is complicate your tax filings and make guys like me rich for no good reason.
Take last years tax amount and divide it by your joint taxable income. Use that percentage to withhold for federal and state taxes. Blow off the W4 and L4. They’ll confuse the hell out of you. Get with your payroll department and play with the numbers until you arrive at the desired percentages. You’ll hit your taxes close every time.

I had it done Dec 21 on my L4. They rolled me back at 9 am and I was in the car at noon. The first week I just took it easy. Watched a lot of bowl games. The sciatic pain was off and on. They gave my a steroid for a week and I started walking a lot. Got up to 3 miles quickly. I walk every day. I wish I had done it long ago. I feel 15 years younger. I’m not 100% cured but feel 95% cured. Just don’t try and do too much too soon.
The athletes will likely be independent contractors. They will receive 1099s. Therefore, they are on their own to remit estimated taxes and file a Schedule C at the end of the year. Unless they get help from a CPA or the university, they will be very surprised at year end when they have to pay up.
Just think of the ones who get free cars, then get 1099’d for the value of the car. But, didn’t cut the deal to get enough cash to pay the taxes.
I think some where down the line the IRS is going to stick it’s nose into all this and conclude the money paid by businesses (which are deducting the payments) are in excess of the fair value of the services the athlete rendered. Accordingly, the deduction taken in excess of the FMV will be denied. And then the dominos start to fall and the payments start declining.
Definitely vote FOR number 1. I file sales tax returns every month and the current requirements are prehistoric and cost my clients more money because it takes extra time. Other states have already moved to a streamlined method and filing in those states is a breeze.

I voted NO for number 2. You are giving up the federal tax as a deduction. That's stupid because you are going to pay tax on money you never touched. It's like tipping the tax on a restaurant bill. What happens is tax revenue is generated out of thin air. Keep in mind your federal taxes are going up under the communist and socialist run congress. If you read the proposal there are too many "ifs" in it. You know those "ifs" aren't likely to happen. I do like the rate reductions though but don't let the fools gold warp your mind. They should have kept the federal tax deduction and just set a flat rate at 3% or 4% and let it roll.

You are right about these vitamins. I take 5,000 IU of D3, 50 mg of zinc, 90mcg of MK7 (K2), 2,000 C, and 600 mg of NAC each day. A year ago my D level was 22. Within 6 months it was up to 43. The cut off is 30, so you want to be above that level. I have done this the entire year of 2020 and so far made it through. I'm 66 just for age reference.

Translation - Can you believe they lost to the catholics in the music city bowl?
If you worked in Louisiana your W2 will show state wages and state tax withheld at the bottom. If you have changed your residence to Texas, you will have to file a form 540B with Louisiana to report you income earned here, pay your tax or receive your refund.

Goose said it all. Got to agree with goose. No fundamentals. That is a sign of a bad coach. LSU is going to give TJ one more year just to "look good" and go through the motions. This assumes we don't continue to get blown out. I have been attending LSU BB games since 1972 and never left early until this year. Sometimes I leave at the half now and may not even attend some of the remaining games despite having mid court seats. TJ has plenty of games left in this season. If he can coach, then he will at least start being competitive even if we lose. Otherwise, he will lose control and be on his way.
I grew up listening to LSU on WWL in the 1960's and 1970's in Virginia. I remember hearing the 1964 Ole Miss game on WWL while in the Philadelphia area.
