We used a travel agent for everything but I watched her go to priceline and book the same cheap tickets I was looking at.

Island buggies ( the all day one ) and the super snorkel were the best tours we did (saw dolphins and whales on the ride back). The buggies were awesome but if you can't drive a stick do joe knows and you will go to all the same places. Driving on the island was one of the biggest thrills of my life that provided a very real fear of death but it was by far the most fun thing we did. Golf was fun as well as zip-lining they may be slightly overpriced but I don't regret doing it.

Don't go on the deep sea fishing!!!!! It sucks the wife got sick and you don't catch anything!

Be prepared at the airport, guys will run up to you offering to carry your bags and it's a rip off as you only go 100 yards from the gate.

The guys on the beach are selling drugs but if your not intrested tell them your job drug tests and they won't bother you again and they are very nice as is everyone on the island.

Tip all non-resort staff and be ready to have the best time of your life. And to answer the cash question we brought $500 there and spent most of it in the airports.

Yea my bad on that. I killed him in Rapides parish which did seem to be a little far for a wood duck to go from its home range, but then again I am far from an expert on the subject.

Not really. Does he have a website or any way to look at pics of his work ( Facebook, Twitter)?

Any idea on a price range for 2 ducks?

Thanks, I'm working with the google machine now and have a few numbers but if anyone here recommends someone that will help narrow my search.

But mostly this post was for bragging

Taxidermist Needed

Got a banded woodie yesterday and want to get him on the wall. Any of you guys know a good waterfowl taxidermist preferably in the Cenla area?

I got all the info from the tag. He was banded in 2012 in Denham Springs.

Chris Benoit is all I have to say to that comment Bob. When people have made the decision to hurt themselves or others there is no one/thing you can blame it on but that persons f'ed up head.

Taking advantage of this situation to go on your own little rant about your personal beliefs on national TV is the most chicken shite thing I have ever witnessed.

that's my piece.

You serious

Sadly yes

I compare it to stories about the Louisiana panther had plenty of people tell me about it, describe it to me and even try to show me grainy, blurry pictures of it, but never acctually seen it myself.

Got to see plenty of boobs from chicks flashing

Maybe it's because I haven't lived long enough or maybe it's because I've lived in Central LA to long but I'm convinced every story of women flashing is pure Fiction.

My SO has a connection to get us tickets and be "guests of the warden". I was really not wanting to go and give up a day of being in the woods but after reading all this kinda looking forward to it now.

Can't agree more. I'm getting some great action at 8-9a.m. on one camera though . Work has kept me out of the woods in the mornings. Hopefully will have some slickhead pics to post around 10 Saturday morning
Saw 6 in a field next to work earlier, one small buck in the bunch. Thought that was a good omen for the night's hunt.... I was wrong

This

I took my CC class there. awesome people! If you're in the market for a new handgun it should be on your list of stops (if your in ellic). You can rent just about every gun they sell there, and I'm pretty sure you can purchase the some of the rental guns to and get a better discount

Thanks for all the help guys

I've held the SR9C does seem to fit my hand nicely and is in the running but I don't care for the loaded safety feature. The thing that raises up when it's loaded... not sure how i feel about that yet.

do you own a SR9C? how do you feel about that feature?

Sounds like the Berettas are the forum favorite. I'll be going to a few local places to hold some tomorrow and see how they fit.
Thanks for the help everybody.
As far as the actual purchasing goes should i stay away from chain stores (Academy) and go local or does it matter?

Targets and Zombies are the only things i have considered it being used for but i guess my answer would have to be all of the above

I love the 1911 but i plan on burning through some rounds and don't think a 45 is the best financial decision for me.

Sorry for the Germans thread too. I've been away from the boards for some time.

Handgun Help

Posted by Captain Quackers on 3/10/11 at 7:10 pm
So I want to buy my first handgun with my tax return and i'm looking for some advice. I want a 9mm for sure because of the cheap(er) ammo and i have big hands so i want a meaty grip.

So far i have shot a Glock 22 .40 and a Springfield xd9 9mm. I didn't care for the grip on the Glock and the Springfield dug into the base knuckle of my thumb and was uncomfortable afer 25 rounds.

Looking in the $500 range BTW.
Any Suggestions appreciated.

Vincent Jackson for sure
BEWARE OF mike sims walker he is not afraid to throw up 0 and has done so multiple weeks this season includeing last week.

re: Colts players

Posted by Captain Quackers on 12/15/09 at 2:50 pm to
Clark- had a big game so defenses will probably not let that happen again this week, however if the colts let manning rest for the playoffs then i would bump up clark because of his reliability. but unless you have Vernon Davis, Antonio Gates or Tony Gonzales(sp.) you're starting Clark, no questions.

Garcon- i like him for the next few weeks because of his size, and the fact that in my leauge Reggie Wayne has not been produceing at all.

Wayne- ask Bro Montana what he thinks of Wayne after this week.

re: Brady or Eli

Posted by Captain Quackers on 12/15/09 at 2:42 pm to
in my opinoin Buffalo is much more generous in giving up points than Washington.
Start Brady.
quinton put up 21 for me this week and from what espn was saying he is the back for washington from here on, but then again he does play for washington.
if Quinton Ganther from WAS is still available go get him.

from who you have i would say your best bet is Faulk.
team 1 is correct

i'm just taking solace in the fact that he had the first pick in the first 5 rounds of the draft and he didn't make it past the first round. Also three of the people on team 1 weren't added until 30 min. before kick off.

SUCK IT Bro Montana!!!!!
TEAM 1
QB-Alex Smith
RB-Steven Jackson
RB-Quinton Ganther (WAS may have misspelled last name)
RB/WR-Devin Thomas (WAS)
WR-Miles Austin
WR-Wes Welker
TE- Dallas Clark
D/ST- Titans
K- Bengals (forgot his name)

TEAM 2
QB- Payton Manning
RB-Adrian Peterson
RB- Jamal Charles
RB/WR-Robert Meachem
WR-Reggie Wayne
WR-Marques Colston
TE-David Thomas (NO)
D/ST-Ravens
K- Matt Prater
