Question for the kit experts...

Posted by jpotts104 on 8/23/11 at 10:54 am
I'm playing in an adult league close to Nashville and they posted our teams and their jerseys today. I'm pretty sure all the jerseys are replicas of clubs or national teams but I can't figure out what the jersey for Nu Breed is. Any help would be appreciated.

I am not for going through another young QB. But that said, I haven't seen anything from JJ or JL that would tell me they should be giving the starting job just because they have a experience. If either of them start, IMO, we will be 7-5 or 8-4. HOPE I AM WRONG.

If CG is heads above them in fall practise then I say why not. Even with him starting we go 7-5 or 8-4 so let him get the growing pains.

I really think it should be an open competition through fall and whomever is the best, play them reguardless. If they are all about even. then you go with experience..

What is the difference in CG having a 7-5 or 8-4 growing pain season and JL or JJ having 8-5 and 9-4 growing pain seasons? I understand that they did not look that great, but I think that is to be expected when going through "growing pains."

These things need time to play out. Of course it is frustrating to watch a team struggle and finish 112th in total offense, but the fact of the matter is that we have had two starting QBs in the last two years and sometimes it takes more than one season for a QB to mature into a quality player.
So I was watching these videos and I started to get excited for next year.... and then I realized that this kid was here THIS year.

As for experience, Jordan Jefferson already has more experience than Flynn had in his entire career, and went into this season with as many starts as Flynn had going into 2007.

An 18 year old with 2 starts and a fifth year senior with 2 starts are not the same thing.
This will actually be my first regular season Saints game to attend. I hope it's a blow-out.
Who cares if it is the worst 10 win season ever? It's better than the record we had last year and hopefully we can build on it for next year.
A coach's quality is measured by where the program was when he started and where it went under his control. If it started bad and got good, then he's good. If it started good and got bad, he's bad. If it started good and stayed good, he's probably good. If it started bad and stayed bad, he's probably bad.

I think this is a great point, but the original poster's point is that we need to wait until after next season to make this judgement. If next season is 10-2 or better, then Miles basically had one down season. If it is 9-3 or worse, then he is definitely trending downward.
