re: watch the Huskies go 9-3

I am giving you four wins......the pac ten won't play you the same way we did last night. You didn't lose locker for all of last season.....You won't have too many more games where the emotion will be as high as it was for last nights game.

Actually, 4 wins was what I thought they'd get this year too....until their play last night gave me (and other UDub fans) hope for a better turnaround.

Locker played the first 3.5 games in 08:

Oregon Loss - Locker played hurt with hamstring
Oklahoma Loss - Locker played hurt with hamstring
BYU Loss (by 1 pt) - Locker played healthy for first time
Stanford Loss - Locker played one half, got hurt for rest of season

...and all this with "Willingham" non-coaching them.

I'll bump this thread after Idaho pounds their arse like a cop in federal prison.

Sorry man, you sound like you talk from experience there...

:doublebird:
Someone else noted in another thread, the Huskies kept USC within 3 points in Locker's Freshman year in 2007: score was 27-24.

So an upset of USC *is* possible.

Yes, really.

And we beat Boise State with Locker his freshman year, 24-10 I think the score was.

What does this tell you? That UDub with a healthy Locker can be very competitive; without Locker is o-fer as we saw in 2008.
Why is it weird to practice our stadium? Just wondering.

The players are not so much small as soft and not sculpted (check our o-line from last year). 'Cept Locker, who's a beast.
