<<<I'm gonna cut you some slack. I think what you were seeing was a shy, quiet guy in front of dozens of cameras and microphones. He committed to Bama in June. I think he's had plenty of time to change his mind if he wasn't happy about it.>>>
T, if you'd had said that with your first post, I wouldn't have gone to da gump.
I could see pressure and nerves getting to a shy kid--actually, thought that's what I was saying.
He did what he had to do to end the pressure--but he looked like he was sad to not be with his buds, Sam & Shep.
<<<Oh, and surely we're not getting redneck or education smack from Louisiana natives?????>>>
How can you avoid it, when your big cheer is:
Roll tide Roll...
Around da bowl...
And through da hole...
Roll tide Roll...
When ya start off in da crapper--do you REALLY think it's gonna get any better? ;)

<<<I am here because TD is the best CFB site on the internet, and some of y'all are pretty cute with the meltdown stuff.>>>
See, it's answers like that (from Louisiana folks, of course), that raise the IQ level of Gumpville another 100 points. :)

I'm just saying that the kid didn't look happy--I didn't say that he looked like a groom at shotgun wedding in Huntsville.;)
Considering my dad's family is from Childersburg/Sylacauga, AL., I guess being given a 7th grade education is high praise. ;)
Every time I think of the area, the theme from da Beverly Hillbillies starts playing in my head:
Kinfolks said, ya need to move away from there... ;)

Or Did TR Look Like Someone Just Kicked His Dawg at his signing party?
My feeds were bad, BUT, he looked like he'd just lost his best friends (Sam & Shep?)
For what should have been the happiest day of his life so far, I didn't see any emotion, I repeat NO emotion.
Is this one of those situations where momma decided what was best?
And as we all know, if momma ain't happy--no one is! (Ya don't have to be Jewish to get momma guilt. lol)

Somebody musta asked him how happy he was not to have to face da Hat after seeing this recruiting class--and he was having trouble catching his breath after laffin' so hard he coughed up his left one. ;)
Dat lil house on da plains is gonna be on their knees offering a raise after Les :spank: the next 6 years and dealing with da gumps... :banghead:
 :geauxtigers:

Was just watching Marlon Brown go to da ugas on es-puke--these kids could learn a lot from NASCAR--have someone shape da BB cap's bill before you put it on and look like a dork.
There is much these kids can learn from Les.
Fear da Hat. :)

Personally, I think the longer TR takes, the better for us--means that he's wavering on 'bama & "he whose name shall not pass my lips"(tho I keep hearing that bama's a done deal--at least on es-puke).
