Whoever it was after he was on the ground a few seconds, he extended his arm and put it 1 yard further out, and then the ref came in and picked it up and put it an additional yard out and he made the 1st down by the nose of the football.
That play will have serious consequences this saturday. The refs are well aware they need to make restitution for that mess last year.

Ref Gate 2008 coming this saturday as payback for 2007.

There will be serious payback for that crap yall pulled last year in Tiger Stadium. Not enough men on the line of scrimmage flag that was picked up and would have wiped off a TD, and giving Hester an extra 2 yards on 3rd down the last drive to pick up the 1st instead of it being 4th and 2. Yall will pay dearly for that crap last year. 2008 ref gate will make this other stuff look small.
