Parker "Billy" Puckett is the second string QB and possible starter Saturday. I have know this young man his whole life, and i promise you he is very capable. He was a PWO due to his size, but decided to pass on smaller school offers due to family legacy with State.
He is wicked smart, and is very good at reading defenses. Ran the scout team last year as a red shirt freshman. He doesn't have the arm talent as Kamario, but neither does most all other SEC QB"s. However, he is mobile and can/will run.
Just thoughts from a La boy trapped in Ms for 30+ years.
