re: Do You Know Anything About Southern Brand BBQ Sauce?
Posted by DNAHavok on 5/29/26 at 7:23 pm to Stadium Rat
Hey Stadium Rat,
My Grandfather and family grew up in Jennings and he remembers this sauce well. Basted all of his BBQ chicken with it and still dreams about it to this day. He has not had it since the late 70s-early 80s. I was able to find pictures of the old label and ingredient lists, but that's about it.
I have seen some of your other posts regarding efforts to recreate the legendary sauce! Have you had any luck?
I would be eternally grateful to anyone who could locate and produce the recipe and process!
Thanks!
