It’s a common name, who would’ve thought it would lead to this

Everything was done electronically so they have the tickets electronically

We have things in the works. Just seeing if anyone else has had a similar experience and seeking advice on how theirs played out.

Without giving too much info, the names are the same. That was the only thing that matched on the account.
If they would’ve checked ID they would’ve seen this was the wrong person- nothing else would’ve matched

That’s what’s wild.., the account STILL
SHOWS my dad’s home address, phone number, email and LSU is still saying we need to hire an attorney… like for what?? We cannot prove who my dad is anymore than the obvious

They did offer a refund but we declined for now since we have to go through litigation (at this point) and we feel it helps our case to decline the refund to show we still have payment on them.

100%…. It’s such an obvious solution it’s scary that they aren’t taking accountability for wrongful transfer…

My mom remarried years ago, and my dad and my stepdad have the same first name.
My dad has been a long-time supporter with season tickets.
Somehow, my stepdad used the name overlap to trick the ticket office into releasing my dad’s account/tickets to him.
If they had checked the account details — address, phone number, even the stored credit card — it was obviously my dad’s, not his.
But instead, they handed everything over, and now my dad has lost the seats he’s paid into for decades.
Has anyone dealt with something like this? What recourse do you even have when LSU lets someone hijack your account because of a name mix-up & then tell you it’s up to you to get attorneys to fix it?!

Definitely a drama filled situation but I guess it gets trashy when you’re dealing with trash

Unfortunately, they are terrible and are taking full advantage of this mistake & even has something to do with tricking LSU to make this happen
TAF gave away my tickets

Has anyone had experience with TAF wrongfully giving away season tickets to a family member that was not on the account. TAF is not taking ownership or fixing the problem.
TAF made a mistake, that they have somewhat admitted to, and have apologized but said we have to hire attorneys and go through litigation to fix their mistake when it’s quite a cut & dry issue.
Seeking advice as I have heard through the grapevine this is more common than you think
