Thank you to you and everyone else who actually answered my questions on this post. I appreciate it. I now have a bettor perspective on this LSU team now that some of you guys have explained their strengths and weaknesses.

You may be right about the lower score. This game could really go either way for both teams. Anyways it’s going to be a fun game Saturday night! May the best Tiger win!
LOL. I don’t mind the trash talk. Goodness knows Clemson has a lot of trash talkers as well. I just wanted to see an LSUs fans honest perspective of the game. There are a few comments on this post that actually answered my questions which I appreciate.

To the trash talkers on here. You do you. I prefer for my favorite team to do the talking Saturday night than to get into a bunch of needless fights on another teams msg board.

It’s gonna be a great game. May the best Tiger win!
We have veteran guys that should be even bettor then last years squad plus we were voted the number 1 dline by several national outlets.

I don’t think Tom will magically fix everything this year but some of the problems we had on defense the last few years were because of coaching. I think we will improve this year with Tom Allen being a wayyy bettor coach then our last defensive coordinator. That’s not to say that we will be the number 1 defense this year or anything close like that but I don’t think we will be as bad as last year.
Don’t worry I come in peace. I would just like to hear from you guys your honest opinions for the game this Saturday. Who do you think is going to win (Obviously most of you will say LSU and that’s fine) What do you think the score will be? What do you think LSUs biggest weakness is? What will LSUs biggest strengths be? What do you guys think Clemson’s biggest weaknesses will be and what will our (Clemson) strengths be this game?Me personally, I think it will be a close game with the potential of the final play being the winning play. I honestly think this is a 50/50 game. I’m picking Clemson to win in a close game (Clemson 30 LSU 27) but I honestly do think LSU does have a pretty decent chance of upsetting us.
Even though I do think it will be a close game, I wouldn’t be gobsmacked if you guys win in a blowout. In the last decade we’ve had a few big games like this with a very talented Clemson roster only to lose in a blow out. If we can lose that badly to a mid Duke team back in 2023 then we could definitely have a bad lost to a top 10 LSU team.Or this Clemson team could make me proud Saturday night and blow out you guys instead but like I said I think it’s more likely going to be a close game this weekend. I’m not very familiar with LSUs roster but I’m going off of what I’ve been hearing on Tigernet (I’m from Tigernet btw). So if I get anything wrong then please just correct me.From what I’ve heard it seems like you guys biggest weakness is your Oline. I’ve heard that there will be a lot of new faces protecting your QB this year. We have one of the best DLines in the country. So I think we have a really good chance to win at the line of scrimmage defensively against a young LSU OL. One of the strengths you guys may have is at the WR position. I’ve heard that you guys have a lot of speed at that position and we have some question marks with our secondary players. So I’m very curious who will win that position battle. Again I’m not that familiar with LSUs squad so if I got some things wrong. Please tell me.As for our strengths and weaknessesI would say that our strengths would be QB, WR, OL, and DLWe got a Heisman trophy favorite in Cade Klubnik with a good and experienced OL to protect him. Plus I have faith in our receivers this year. Our Dline should be one best in the country this year. The big questions for us is the RB, and our secondary DB positions. We have a brand new RB room this year with our RB1 being a former WR turned RB for us and our second best back is a freshman. Although there are promising signs from training camp that Adam Randall (RB1) could be a great RB for us this season and that freshman I was talking about is a 5 star recruit. So I’m not too worried about that position but as of now it is an unproven position group for us. We will just have to wait and see how they do this year. Our secondary has had its ups and downs the last few seasons and we’ve missed a bunch of tackles from them last season. I hope that our new defensive coordinator can help fix up those mistakes but it’s another wait and see scenario. Now if there is one position that I’m pretty sure is going to be a weakness for us it would be the punting position. We have 3 punters still battling to be the starter for us and it looks like all 3 aren’t that good and at the very best may be average punters.

I made it shorter so it would be easier to read. Sorry about that. I put wayyyy to many spaces in my post.
