re: Looking for recommendations for Cape Town

Appreciate it. To piggy back off his post, I used the same company to take us on Chapmans peak drive down to the cape of good hope and then back up with a stop at boulder beach to see the penguins. He also brought us to an Ostrich farm where they make real ostrich leather goods at a fraction of the cost. My wife got a purse and I got a nice belt. Table mountain is a must do like the other guy said. Go in the early morning, they can close due to high winds.
My other dinner suggestion is in Hout Bay (30ish min south of cape town) at Chef's warehouse Tintswalo. You wont regret it.

I used Jarat Tours out of cape town. We spent 2 days in the winelands (1 day in Franschhoek and 1 day in Stellenbosch) He drove us around both days to 2-3 vineyards each day with a lunch stop as well. Picked us up at our cape town hotel and then also brought us to the airport after the 2nd day, to head to safari.
We stayed at Le petite Ferme in Franschhoek both nights, and I would highly recommend it! Get a room with a pool/view of the mountains.
We visited Delaire Graff, Haute Cabriere, Kanonkop, Glenelly, and Babylonstoren. The only one that wasn't amazing was Kanonkop but it still had very good wines.
La Petite Colombe for dinner in Franschhoek is a must.

Hate to inform you, but they may even have a weaker schedule this year lol. No Ark, LSU, FLA, UGA or Kentucky this year...

Sushi Noz- 2 star Omakase in the upper east side. Expensive, but worth the splurge.

Watched his film, I think Franklin didn't like him. Should be a 3 star. Perfect fit for a ULL, ULM, etc.

Chefs warehouse Tintswalo - about 20-30 min ride from cape town. Great restaurant on the water in Hout's Bay
The Lawns- great spot for drinks before dinner. up in the hills great view of the mountains over looking camps bay area
Do table mountain early in the morning on a clear day, they close for winds often.
Take a day trip to Stellenbosch and Franschhoek (about 1-1.5 hr drive from cape town) I used Jarat tours for a private driver, was a great time. Plenty great vineyards to choose from. we ate at Le Petite Colombe in Franschhoek and it was great.
