I've been on it for a year with just steak, eggs, butter and lots of salt. My LDL is high, my HDL is increasing, and my triglycerides are dropping. I feel great and my arthritis is gone. My sugar numbers are dropping, and I look and feel younger. I just went to a new GP and he was interested after he did the normal speech of you are going to die if you don't toe the line with statins. I've had a double bypass, many stents that were happening about every three years. My cardiologist said it was my genetics. I'm a technician and I can't except that after doing all the healthy crap and taking all the pills, shots and magic potions. I was sick, fat and in pain. My blood pressure was running 200/100 with medication and low fat, low salt, high vegetables and fruit intake. Salt lowers your blood pressure. High LDL is fine, it's the condition of the particles that matters. Carbs and sugars damage the particle. Ask for an extend lipid panel that will report on condition. My new doctor who looks like Doogie Howser, ordered one without my suggestion as I forgot, He was cool once he realized I was serious and care about my own health. It is truly miraculous. I'm 71 and still on the road fixing machines because of carnivore as I was going to quit last year. I love my work, and it would be like killing a part of me if I quit doing it. Good luck. Vegetables and fruit are not good for you. We are made to be carnivore with stomach acid to digest about anything except vegetables. Do some research. Let's just say you will save a ton on TP. as your body used all of the meat.
