Light show was awesome, but can you risk an unsportsmanlike penalty on LSU? Almost got one against Ole Miss as students were throwing the wristbands on the field. They've got to threaten a Texas like punishment to prevent it from happening. Most fans/students were booing the wristband throwers, but it only takes one idiot to hit a ref with one and LSU could get a penalty. We could go with rally towels instead. Haven't done that in a while. How valuable is having the light show for recruiting? (Underwood)...

Yeah I mean we legit have become QBU. Oh how people forget decades of asinine QB play. Success in modern cfb is incredibly QB dependent and BK has shown the ability to recruit, keep, and coach QBs. At times I feel like he singles out QBs on the sideline too heavily, but I'd rather that than a coach who is not involved with QB X's and O's (Coach O/Les Miles/Dennis Allen). Sure there are a few things about him that we can pick a bone about but no one is perfect and I struggle to see this program ever being bad as long as he's here. I get that 9-3 is awful at LSU, but in reality it is highly above average. I think things will come together soon and we'll get some more hardware in the next few years. Until then, let's be glad we don't suck

Especially with Kirk and Chris coming to town anyway to call the game it'd make a lot of sense. But can't rule out them going somewhere completely out of left field like they've done a few times this year.

For anyone that read it, my previous post needs to be scratched because it did not consider the mind bending scenarios of 3 or even 4 teams with the same conference record. My effort to clear up the misinformation did just the opposite, further proving how ridiculous the non-division system is. I greatly appreciate those who pointed this out. It has become obvious that the possibilities are too numerous to grasp. About all I know is LSU is in better shape than most teams, and would probably make the title game in the case of a UGA, Texas, A&M, and LSU tie. Winning out likely gets us to ATL, and almost certainly gets us in the playoff. I'm sure my fellow nerds who like to know who to root for and what certain games mean at all times will understand my disdain for this new system that puts so many variables in play. I guess a positive on the 12 team system is we're still playing nationally meaningful games even with 2 losses. For now, let's figure out how to stop a running QB and the rest should take care of itself... #BeatBama

Surely 10-2 LSU doesn't get left out even if we don't get to ATL right?! In that case, maybe you prefer sitting at home. A 1st round bye is cool and all but imagine someone like Penn State/Miami/Notre Dame/Clemson coming to BTR for a playoff game.
