HorninHouston: 9-3

Was an easy prediction. I knew our issues on offense weren't Quinn. They were Sark and will continue to be Sark.

Tried to warn you Horn fans.

I also predicted, back in january, that the issues would remain and most of you would blame arch and not the guy in charge. This was a post from January this year.

"Good point. Time will tell if he can grow into one. He's not going anywhere unless he wants to so buckle up.
I just hope that when we see the same issues on offense with Arch that fans don't unload their fury on arch and look at the guy coaching him. Those false starts, ineffective red zone plays, and, at times, terrible ol play don't leave with Quinn. They remain.

Texas has three weeks to figure this out. Hopefully they do.

Lol sark isn’t figuring this out. He never could with quinn. What on earth makes you think it will just magically come together now?
Sark is the problem. Unfortunately, championship caliber coaches don’t fall off trees. No guarantee we could do better.
We just need to have realistic expectations.

Will Alabama survive coach KDB?

I trust his offense more than sark but our defense is better. It’s a wash.
The only thing that’s clear is that neither Texas nor Alabama have a chance at winning at all this season with these two coaches
In fact, I’d bet money that neither of these coaches will ever win one.
It’s not rocket science. Don’t hire frauds to coach your team

Sark’s career

Vs AP Top 10 Teams
4–10
Vs AP Top 25 Teams (career)
~8–18
Vs AP Top 25 Teams (Texas)
~21–33

The only truly surprising thing is why anyone would be surprised we look so bad against teams with elite talent. It’s just who he is.

Told you. Baylor sucks. I like Aranda but he needs to gtfo Waco
24-16 OSU

I still don’t trust sark.

It worked great for Texas last year. Michigan was severely overrated, but that W really helped set the stage for the season. Could be the same this season.

This, it’s true that both of these teams will look very different at the end of the season. A win only helps that strength of schedule which becomes really important at the end of the season not to mention the momentum gained from a win.
I worry more about sark’s play calling than the OL. We all saw his abysmal play calling against georgia and osu last year with a veteran OL. I will continue to assume more of the same until he proves me wrong.

OSU 24 - good guys 16

Something tells me that Ohio State and Texas is going to end in a blowout by either team.

I don’t know what to expect. My lack of faith in Sark tells me we lose but nothing would surprise me, including a blowout win.

any of the top 6 or 7 teams could win this conference this year. It's wide open. I have a feeling that Florida and maybe the Ags are going to sneak up on some folks this year. No one is talking about the Ags so maybe that's the energy they need to put a great season together. They never seem to perform well when backed by hype (for that matter we struggle with that at times as well).

I wouldn't put money on any team to win it all. I don't know who I'd bet on. I still say it's Georgia's league until someone dethrones them.

zero faith in Baylor's defense. We'll see.

Missouri 48 - Central Arkansas 20

Auburn 34 - Baylor 21

OSU 24 - Texas 16

Tennessee 23 - Syracuse 13

Mississippi State 31 - Southern Miss 28

Kentucky 35 - Toledo 27

Georgia 51 - Marshall 13

Alabama 28 - FSU 16

Arkansas 56 - Alabama A&M 3

Oklahoma 48 - Illinois State 10

Florida 48 - Long Island 6

Texas A&M 42 - UTSA 23

Vanderbilt 38 - Charleston Southern 20

Ole Miss 45 - Georgia State 9

Clemson 42 - LSU 38

South Carolina 28 - Virginia Tech 24
I'm taking OSU -2.5.

I do think Arch will be a very good QB for us but game 1, in that environment may be a bit much for him.

I'm far more interested in how he plays when we start SEC play than game 1. A loss won't doom us.

I know they “ran” the big 12 riding Oklahoma’s coattails…. But they’re acting like they’re big 6 and sec royalty.

You have to stop feeding the trolls. Most of us are happy here and just want to be able to compete at a high level. We know it's a tough conference. That's what we love about it.
The trolls exist only to stir the pot. Don't let them.

Aggies and UTrannies are the same in different colors.

Eventually people will come to understand this fact.

The only difference is it’s been two decades and the launch of the iPhone since UTranny won anything while it’s been a lifetime for Aggy.

No two programs do less with more. A perfect match.

good timing and thanks. What better example is there that LSU has their own group of asshats :rotflmao:
quote:

Then there are the trolls... who bought into the "everything is bigger in Texas" mantra and become the biggest, loudest, and most obnoxious asshat possible. There is a level of arrogance from this group that no amount of historical evidence will dissuade them from their quest to prove they matter.

Unfortunately it's impossible to know which of these asshats are real fans and which are trolls. Probably a little of both.

I see a lot of that from other fan bases here as well. Especially LSU and Tennessee fans.

It's far too easy to be an a-hole on the internet when there is the safety of anonymity. There's no real solution other than ignoring them.

It all started with that 7OT theft job that was put on LSU.

Oh yeah you were robbed that game. No doubt at all.

But it just adds to the animosity with the ags that's turning into a good rivalry.
