Appreciate the update. Hope it gets cleared up for her either way.
I never heard what happened to Gilbert. Is she hurt or just off the team? There were some games last year where she took over when others were struggling. Not sure hers is a team game, which is the chemistry of this team moreso than one on one talent, but I thought she had a role and was very talented. It may be better without her but just never heard what happened.
There are only so many donors that move the needle and I’d think they want to see a return on what they give to want to keep giving. Confidence in the decision makers right now isn’t great and the governor made their job harder. It won’t matter as much if they make the right hire now but we will probably have to get lucky because of the things that have happened. It all matters in the future success of our beloved Tigers!
Haven’t seen this mentioned because they didn’t show a replay, but when MVB had a problem w his helmet that cost a timeout, it was because of him sliding and getting hit in the head. I rewinded it and took a pic of the bama linebacker crown down straight into his helmet. Don’t know how to post it, but rewind and look. No replay and no review. Just another one that would have been a first down. All those reviews, but not that?
You know this how? Probably right, but no coach we go after has the info to make that decision yet. Just don’t know why you keep speaking in absolutes when it’s really your opinion. You doubt it and don’t think it will happen, ok that’s reasonable. It’s a long way from certainty and probably a long time.
I seent it over and over for 2 yrs. Amazing really!
To me the more predictable thing last year was 2nd down play calling after 1st down incompletions. At one point in the middle of the season I noticed it then for the next 6 games I don’t remember him not doing it. There was definitely an adjustment later in the season and it showed.

I get that you want to reduce 3rd down yardage to gain, but hoping we see some short slants, WR screens, swing passes or something less predictable to accomplish the same result or better. Not sure how good our receivers will block this year, also part of that equation.
Everybody knows! Why do this? Still a good job by the staff recruiting. Only so much they can do and it’s good publicity while helpful with the next recruit that does stay. It’s a good commitment regardless!
You’d be shocked how right he is about this, except the last game or 2. I’d love to see it broken down, but I noticed for 5 games in a row that we ran on 2nd down after every 1st down incompletion.

You are the first to basically say it, but for 4 games I’ve noticed that if there is an incompletion on 1st down, the next play is a run and almost always leaves 3rd and 8. In the last 3 games for sure this has happened without exception. I thought maybe the “self scouting” off week would help them see it. Maybe they did and just want to get something short of 3rd and 10, but at least on occasion you have to do something different. I’m not anti Sloan, but I do think his inexperience is showing.
Wendell Davis is the first star I remember but Josh Reed was the beginning of the string of WRs and won the Biletnikoff.

Yep! They always figure out a way to give some explanation diverting attention from the screw up and they never come back to why their answer is irrelevant!

Who made the call?

Home plate ump called him out. Other umps about 120’ away. Not reviewable, so shouldn’t be league office calling. How was the original call changed and by who?

Also, how is it interference if batter didn’t hit the catcher. He backed out. Where is the deception (balk?).
