Baker would be stupid to turn down the Tulane job. Look at Sumrall... If Baker does well at Tulane, he'll have offers for a top job within 2 years.

He won't get offers for a premium head coaching job while still a DC.

7 years at $13 Million. No mitigation requirement for the buyout.
He’s going to be kissing Kiffin’s arse now
Baker's defense is single-handedly winning this game. Paired with Kiffin's offensive scheme we will be in good shape

Guy just says stuff. He's great at using lots of words to say nothing
If Kiffin comes, it will be next level insanity in Oxford next year. Even if he decides to stay, the game will have a ton of tension

The reports that the announcement will come early in the day solidifies that the decision is already made. If he was actually waiting to make a decision tomorrow, it wouldn't be made early in the day. He's coming to BR
Brady is a great offensive play caller but I don't think he has the personality to be a head coach
I think Kirby is the only one clearly ahead of him. Sark, DeBoer and Elko are close but haven't really proven much yet. Sark has underperformed given the resources at Texas.
Video from last year included him (briefly). LINK
I'm choosing to believe this :nana:

Field.

I still think there is a solid chance we land Kiffin, but with so many unknowns you have to take the field.
You really think in today's landscape a 35 year old coach is going to spend his entire career in one place lmao

Maybe he doesn't want to leave yet, but he will eventually
That's valid. But I'm not saying you hire him based off one win against Texas Tech, my point is I don't think he's had just one fluke season of success.

He's got ASU to the point where they are consistently competitive against more talented programs.
They did beat Texas Tech this year...and Texas Tech will be in the playoffs.
