re: What happened to Pasttime?

Years ago I had a friend suggest that I go and try the boudin pizza. I went to "Pastime Jr" on Drusilla since it was closer. It was some the worst, blandest pizza I ever had. When I told him about it, he told me the mistake I made was that I didn't go to the original location. So, I went to that one and tried it. Equally horrible.

In October my wife and her friend took our son (and hers) to the 13th Gate and were looking for a place to eat. Her friend wanted to do Pastime and my wife called me and asked if I had ever been there and if so, what I recommended. I told her I had been there, and I wasn't sure what to get, but I told her whatever you do, DO NOT get the pizza.

So of course she got the pizza. She came home and told me it was the worst pizza she ever had.
My personal favorite is the Amaretto Walnut cream cheese from Keller's in Lafayette

The one I want to try this year is the Wedding Cake king cake at Frank's in Des Allemands
Give me the donut. A hot KK right from the belt is pure scrumptiousness.

Did you know that the make vape detectors now?

Yeah, but it hasn't made much difference.
Vaping is a nationwide pandemic in middle and high schools. Only going to get worse

One of my absolute favorite foods. Very popular in Pittsburgh due to the Polish community. We called them golabki

Their menu is hit and miss. They have some items that are very good though: the aforementioned fish curry, smokehouse fried rice, mandu dumplings, nuoc cham wings.

you'd be better off with DiGiorno

fried fish curry is insanely good

Was coming to post the same thing. One of my favorite places in town
Dee Dee had her get a feeding tube and would put medications in it while she slept. Also told everyone (including Gypsy) she had leukemia. Then made Gypsy shave her head telling her, "It's gonna fall out anyway"

The problem with the dude in prison is that he hasn't shown any remorse and said he'd do the same thing again to protect Gypsy

Walkers Drive-In
Big Apple Inn (pig ear sandwich and "smokes")

Terry himself is very nice guy. His current wife is an absolute bitch, though. Easily one of the worst people I've ever been around.

I still remember being at a restaurant as a kid and my parents talking about Terry getting divorced from his wife Jojo. I remember my mom was drinking a "Grasshopper" cocktail that was green and it embedded in my memory.
My dad used to do business with him in his heyday back in the late-70s/early 80s when we lived in Pittsburgh and said he was down to earth and cool as shite, loved the ladies despite being married. I remember as a kid I had all the front pages of the Pittsburgh Press/Post Gazette from the four times they won the Super Bowl, all signed by him. The one that stands out is the headline "CITY BASKS IN STEELER SUN". Plus I had other autographs of players like Swann, Stallworth, Lambert, Jack Ham, LC Greenwood, Mike Webster, and Louis Lipps. No clue what ever happened to all that stuff. Probably still in my dad's attic somewhere. Crazy thing is that despite all that I wasn't a Steelers fan once I started getting into football.
I've gotten them from La Bon Boucon in Vacherie. His are very good. Makes a great red jambalaya and tarte a bouille pies as well.
I also heard an Oregon RB (from Picayune) is headed to Miss. State?

Diedra/Diedre, Greta, Gertrude
I assume he's an OU fan... yet he has Nebraska at #1. Is Matt Rhule really doing that great?
