Pretty sure that unless you're convicted of a crime, or you lie on the application, or people believe you're an imminent danger to yourself or others, law enforcement can't restrict your 2A rights....

Maybe in the future, but not now. Putin doesn't want to work with the West. He wants to work with China and establish a rival sphere of influence. I'd love to live in the world where Russia gets along with its neighbors, but that's not happening....
