Yep, there are quite a few of us in Boston. Baseball Tavern on Boylston behind Fenway Park is where all the alumni go for LSU football games. Baseball Tavern has been great to us; we generally get the main floor and control of the music/sound during LSU games. Also, we have a crawfish boil every year on their roofdeck (early May uaually)

All of the LSU Alumni in the Boston area gather at the Baseball Tavern. It's right behind Fenway Park.
We have our annual crawfish boil there (500+ pounds this year) as well. The Baseball Tavern is also home to Saints fans in Boston. So much so that we made the front page of the Times Picayune as part of a "Who Dat Nation" article sometime right before the Super Bowl.
Although the places BoogahEater mentioned aren't bad, you'll be hard pressed to find anyone at those bars where anyone gives a damn about college football. Boston lives for their pro sports.

re: Hotels in Columbia, SC

I am aware its a 90 minute drive. I guess I should clarify that I'm flying out of Charlotte (not living or staying there). And due various driving/flight/travel plans for myself and my friends, it's simply most convenient for us to stay in the Columbia area.
Mostly, I'm looking for what parts of town to avoid in this hotel search...
Thanks for the link, rbdallas

Hotels in Columbia, SC

Does anyone have any recommendations for hotels in Columbia, SC? I'll be driving in from Charlotte.
I'll also welcome any warnings to stay away from certain hotels. :)
Thanks! :geauxtigers:
