Negatives - it is probably my experience in the SEC but the crowd and stadium was just not that imposing. Really disappointed.
Go on State Street before the game. Where all the fraternities are. Nice little block party. Good times / good ladies.

I know we tried to schedule a home and home. They said no. The associate ad, where i got my info from, alluded to the fact that they dont want to play anyone from the SEC. This convo took place a couple years ago - right after LSU pounded Notre Dame in the Sugar Bowl.
There has been talk about Illinois and Bama from Soldier Field.
Look for a bama game to be schduled from Jerry World(new cowboys stadium) against a premier program. USCali or Texas last I heard.
Also, 2010 we are going to PSU with PSU coming to us in 2011. So all talk has to be 5 years down the road.

I saw the celebratory gunshots headline and busted out laughing. Its for New Years but I would like to think that the editor of the Bham News put that there just becuase it fit so well.

I think it is similar. Both programs have pasts that overshadow others and when they succeed their past is brought up.
But Notre Dame gets way too much national attention.
But rest assured that Bama fans hate Golden Domers too. Even the Irish catholic ones like me.

I wonder what Kiffin's Raiders COntract says. A common clause is if he takes another job then he doesnt get paid for the rest of the season. If so then he could lose money if he went to Auburn. This was just a shot in the dark....
