What if they tie on Sunday? How in the world would they break that tiebreaker? That would be so heartbreaking for one of the teams.

Just like today. Top 2 move on. If it’s a tie for 2nd/3rd then they count the dropped scores to see who moves on.
They said during the broadcast that they said they wanted to play all 9 today and tomorrow. Sunday is 50/50 because of their flight.

Why does playing Houston in Houston get more money than in BR?

TV money. Games at tiger stadium are broadcast under the SEC tv contract, so really no extra money. These neutral site games get their own contracts that the 2 teams split and it more than makes up for only selling half a stadium worth of tickets and concessions.
Essentially if you play at Hawaii, the NCAA says you can schedule an extra home game to recoup the costs, which means there are some teams that play 13 games. Those teams obviously have to play a week 0 game to fit a full schedule with a bye week. If you are on the schedule for one of those teams then potentially your game against them will get moved to week 0, which gives you an extra bye during the season.
If the odds are more than 0.0% you’re risking millions. Imagine holding a 3 million dollar lottery and taking it on a meaningless trip to your parents house to take pictures with it instead of straight to the claims office.

All major college championships are on a Monday. Not sure why, but I remember them saying something about that. CFP Championship, basketball finals, game 1 of CWS
USC was nominated for a single song in the 70s I think. Another marching band this year I think is nominated for a gospel category. But I think tiger band is the only one for a full album that’s a collaboration with another artist.

BATON ROUGE - A Lake Charles-based musician and the Golden Band from Tigerland earned a Grammy nomination for their unprecedented collaboration.

WBRZ spoke with Sean Ardoin just last week, where he explained the new album 'Full Circle' is the first of its kind.

"It's the first time that an artist and a marching band have totally collaborated for the entirety of an album. Most people just do a drum section or horn section. This is the band and my band collaborating totally like they're playing the whole time," Ardoin said.

And that effort has seemingly paid off, with the new release earning a nod in the Best Regional Roots Music Album category at the Grammys. Ardoin himself has been nominated for a Grammy award on three other occasions.
