I am here now with my wife and daughter. We have been here all week and have not really noticed anything as it relates to protests, other than some garbage on the sidewalks. The city actually came through 2 days ago and cleaned some of it up. It’s not a big deal. Use the “Citymapper” app to get around. It will tell you if any metros or buses are affected by protests. We’ve been all over the city with no issues. I would suggest getting an Uber from the airport to your hotel just in case the train is having issues.
