That is the definition of mostly. I would say Tennessee could have been better in 09, 16, 17, 20, and 21. So, yes, mostly. As I said.

Your program hasn't been "strong". It's been decent with a magical year. You went 8-4, 9-4, 10-3 before going 15-0. Then a massive fall off. I didn't say team, I said program. Even with all those folks leaving it shows a lack of consistency in your program. Believe me, I know what that looks like being a Vol. You have been more consistent that Tennessee for sure, no one would deny that. Like I said, I would gladly have traded places with W and L records over the last two decades.

Not sold on Kelly. Honestly, only LSU fans seem to be sold on him. I think he will be ok, because he was just ok at ND. Not sure he is cut out for what the SEC holds.
We haven't had a decent football team in a long time. However, I wouldn't say that LSU has been consistent either. Have you been better than Tennessee for the last 15-20 years? Mostly. That is obvious. However, as of late LSU hasn't, from a program perspective, been that amazing. You won a Natty a few years ago, but that was more like a Chizik/Newton lightning in a bottle with Orgeron/Burrow. I would love that to happen to Tennessee, and congrats on hitting the jackpot. But, outside of Bama, and now UGA, we are all playing catch up. I think what many Vol fans are perceiving is that we are playing catch up at a better rate than those other schools around us. We feel like we're in a better place than UF, UK, SC, AUB, and honestly, LSU. We will see. On Saturday, may the team with the best coaching and teenagers dressed up in plastic running around chasing a leather oblong ball win. I think it will be the Vols. If not, I will have a great dinner, sleep well, and go to church the next morning.
