Annual/Lifetime Gift Tax Exemptions

I understand the annual individual to individual annual gift exemption limits. Reading up on the lifetime exemption, it appears you can go beyond the annual limit without paying taxes as long as it is claimed at tax time and you are below the lifetime exemption limit of $11.7M. Am I understanding this correctly? Would the recipient be taxed on any gifts over the annual limit? Are there any better options to transfer wealth from one generation to the next?

Sorry, I’m new here. Can anyone explain some things tome like I’m five? How does the President, who has crippled the economy for the sake of global warming and green energy, have a son brokering deals with China over non-green energy supplies? How would any foreign country find Hunter qualified to broker these deals without his dad’s endorsement? Why is the media ignoring this? And finally, why aren’t the left wing liberals like AOC blasting the both of them for dealing hydrocarbons to a country we have a poor relationship with?

If she is punished then all student’s social media should be screened and equal punishments should be handed out regardless of race, gender or sexual preference. People have been asking for equity. Let’s give it to them

As far as crowd engagement, this was one of the best games I’ve been to in years. It reminded me of the Dinardo/early Saban era when we were fighting to get into the top half of the SEC. The fans rushing for the exit when we went up 24-16 was embarrassing
